A Must Buy, High Quality, Fun to Build, Beautiful Display, Sturdy
Where do I start? This lego compatible build is an absolute must have if you or your kids are into building brick sets. I'm positively blown away by the brick quality, design, sturdiness, and final presentation! Each piece fit snug without a struggle, edges are smooth, brick quality is heavy than most and the beveled edges on pieces included my Son told me, "Is super satisfying Ma!" While purchased for my 12 yr old that LOVES anime, my younger 10 yr old put this together in our hotel suite while we were enjoying a weekend getaway. Please note however, the sword itself is mostly white and black, however the metallic floral pieces and studded embellishments, are actually metallic, and are finished to a super smooth edge. The color portions of the design however, are all stickers, and while very, very simple to put on after the sword is assembled, actually using printed pieces would knock this out of the park! Easier than most to put on and line up, they actually adhere very well, don't have any curled edges or corners/edges coming loose, and even though they are stickers, the end result is awesome! It makes a beautiful display piece, and size wise, is actually comparable to that of a life size sword. The feeling and sound you get when you slide it into the sheath, is....super satisfying, and glides in super easy. One piece of advice, if you build the sheath first, you may want to assemble the gold ornate parts of the handle, and the small stick portion of the sword up to the step where you have maybe 10-15 smaller white lego compatible bricks poking out of the decorative handle. We learned this the HARD WAY! The sheath construction at the end, definitely requires either the small portion of sword I mentioned, or get creative, as we initially had to use a flat iron to barely insert so the opening where the sword goes in, doesn't crumble to pieces and cause "a complete crash out moment" as we experienced several times. The side pieces you clamp the last parts of the sheath together with were a bit challenging, and fit so tightly that it actually pinched the skin on the side/back of my hand when we connected the last steps. The gold oval parts, the decoration pieces that are at the opening of the sheath tend to fell in on themselves when trying to finally secure it, so again, word to the wise, insert something thin and small enough that's easy to slide out, but also helps hold the middle up and in place as you connect the last 3-5 steps of the sheath portion. Other than that, it's a surprisingly fantastic display piece once finished, fun to build, great quality, and even sturdy enough that 🤞🏼it continues to stand strong, even with showing it to their friends, and with each friend "having to take it out, anime cosplay for a moment, and "brush, I have to put it back in the sheath bruh...that's so smooth and addicting!" Lol

Satisfying
So. This isn't a name brand product, but it's still a masterpiece. The blocks themselves fit perfectly together and every piece as well as extras were included. They have even included a grey version of the bright orange block remover pry tool you get with almost every name brand set. The pieces were in numbered bags like the name brand. The instructions are on scale with the name brand though not perfect. You have to pay very close attention to the exact placement of some of the pieces. So, expect quite a bit of stud counting. But overall building it was so very satisfying. The process wasn't a breeze. But I didn't want it to be simple. That would be boring. It was challenging just enough and is probably why the recommended age is 14+. Well, that and the fact is that it's a pretty realistic representation of an actual sword so we wouldn't want little Timmy poking his sister in the eye with it would we? When you walk into the room and see it sitting there all pretty in its sheath on its stand it appears to be real. Just leave it sitting out in your living room and when your next guess comes over watch the look on their face when they finally pick it up only to realize it's plastic. And then you get to tell them it's a building block sword you put together. Well, they'll either think that it's cool or that you're a geek but who cares! It is cool! I chose this sword because I think it looks more realistic than the others. Also, because it doesn't have any stickers to apply. And a cool bonus and a really well implemented feature this sword has is that the greyish looking pieces of the blade glow in the dark and when I say well implemented, I mean that they glow nice and bright. It's a very nice bonus. Just watch out for little Timmy if you're waving this thing around in the dark though. The sword is very sturdy. You can actually wave it around without fear of it falling apart. Just don't wave it stupid fast. Also, if you bang it up against something it will most likely break apart. Lightly tapping imaginary enemies with it though would probably be ok. I kind of laughed after typing that last sentence. It's honestly not really a toy. It's more for decoration. Having a cool showpiece on the shelf. The packaging for it is pretty nice. It's better than a plain cardboard box anyway. I am actually thinking about buying two of the other swords out there and buying and making my own version of a wall mounted sword rack out of building blocks. I think this would look real nice hanging on my wall. But anyway, I digress. This is a really nice set and I think it was well worth the price. I am super happy with it. Watch out Timmy!

Loved this sword
Bought this sword for my son for Christmas. He loves Zorro. I get nervous purchasing Legos that are not of the Lego brand, but these Legos are comparable. Great quality easy to build. Great value for the money. The size is of an actual sword and it is very durable.

One Main Issue
Everything is good and it looks nice and I love the glow in the dark pieces but I do have one big problem for me which is that the measurement is off for the sheath and the sword sticks out of it some because it won't fit all the way in

Great quality, great LEGO brand alternative.
Build quality is 9/10 if 10 being “LEGO” quality. Instructions were a little different, it’s not piece by piece rather section by section. Still easy to follow. 800ish pieces with some left over (typical) great value for piece count.

Don't waste your money!
OMG... one of the worst builds ever. The sword is wicked flimsy. The sheath that the sword slides into was a nightmare to put together. The parts are so tight, it's impossible to put them together so they are flat and flush, unless you have a rubber mallet to beat them with. On top of all that, the white pieces for the sheath have back marks all over them, from rubbing against the back pieces in the package. Going to the seller next to get my money back. They send a card with the package incase you have any issues, so stay tuned to see how they handle this.
