this thing is awesome. The ONE thing you must know: make sure your wall adapter is pin-positive, barrel-negative. The adapter I had was pin-negative, barrel-positive. Power module would not power on - go figure.

This is an Excellent starting kit, for the price: WARNING: Double Check the protoboard lines before powering anything Mine had an dangerous short between power and ground (see photo), I catched the issue before I fried my components, so always check your connections before power. I was able to remove the backing sticker and fix the lanes. power board it's such a plus, it even comes with a couple of RGB LEDs

The product description did not mention it did not have any user guide / instructions. For a beginner, this just does not work. Even searching youtube and internet, not much was available for this kit. I needed to order a new power supply already because I assume I may have inadvertently burned out the one that came with product with perhaps to high a power source perhaps. Now I know I will just use a 9 volt battery (rather than an electric 9 volt power source. But overall, this simply should have instructions and a few illustrated projects.

For a starter kit learn a lot about wire and came with 74hc595 chip for bidirectional computing and UNO most widely used good.
