Arrived plastic wrapped in excellent condition

The author of this book, Aaron Dembski-Bowden has a track record of taking Warhammer lore to its full potential. This is without a doubt his best novel, and has narrowly taken its place as my favorite Warhammer novel (of any of the settings), of all time. The reality of a six month siege, with the absurd technological/metaphysical capabilities of other armies is pushed to maximum realism here. To be blunt, this book can be brutal. There are scenes that are grotesque and tough to read but they always have a point. Nonetheless, I ended this book feeling something. Drained, hopeful, and haunted all at the same time. This book is incredible.
