They do look kinda dorky, but they're sturdy, and the lenses are a real notch above any other OTC reader I have tried. They are really graduated from almost no power to max rated power, top to bottom. I have three pair in various powers. Higher power is excellent for shop work.

I lost my regular rx glasses which cost 10 times the price. Why go back when these work great!? I tested the strength at my local pharmacy. I first checked if they carried these but they didn't but did have readers with variable strengths to test. Hope they come in more colors and styles! Pros: Good looking, well made, does what it claims at a very affordable price. Wish the lenses in the next wave will have better scratch proofing, and oil resistance with photo chromatic option to get darker in the sunlight! Cons: They do seem to be pinching a bit just a bit on the sides of my head. I could take them to a local optical store and have them fitted for free though.

These are perfect for those of us who cannot get used to readers on the end of your nose. I have purchased these in multiple strengths (IYKYK) and they are perfect for the office, I can look at computer and paperwork without adjustments.

I purchased three pairs of these and love the idea. They are comfortable to wear, and reduce eye strain for reasonable amounts of time. Of the three pairs received, one was perfect, one had an arm that wouldn't stay open, and one had a minor crack. I think my biggest complaint is how easily they scratch. I don't consider myself to be hard on glasses, but after a few weeks, they look like they have survived a warzone. I wear them on top of my head most of the day, so it isn't like they are being tossed around. Great idea, just need some improvements.

I have ordered my third pair of the Shiny Tortoise in 2.75. Love the style, look and snug (but not too snug) fit. Crystal clear and perfect multifocus.

I bought these reading glasses for the frames. I like the way they looked I thought the glasses were a lot bigger by the picture? When I got them the frames, they were a little smaller where you look out from, than the picture showed. The arm's are like Ray band's wide I like that about them. They feel like they are made well. I intended to have my prescription put in them. I had the eye glass person bend the arms to fit my ear's now they fit really good. After everything was adjusted to my face I'm having bifocals put in them so I will have them on all the time. I'll write back after wearing them for - 6- month's to give an up date on how they hold up.

I really like these glasses, but I have to say after buying quite a few pairs they always seem to break easily.
