I feel like this is a good beginner mask. It's strong, but then again it's not - you don't actually peel. I mean, you might see some flaking in the latter days after if you have a lot of excess dry skin, but typically speaking it's just not how it works.My skin did look a tad more radiant, I guess, but not by much. I may not have had as much of a drastic result because I already use tret regularly so ymmv with it as far as results go.It does have everything you need and is a nice pampering splurge, but if you've already got a good skincare routine and use chemical exfoliators or tret etc., you probably won't be as impressed with it.Oh, last thing - be sure to double up on your sunscreen for a minimum of 2 weeks after using it. Minimum spf 45. Your skin will stay photosensitive for quite some time afterwards and that is the case for any acids and actives, even if it is all natural ingredients and fruit acids etc. Sunscreen is your best skincare product!

I will admit, I took this out and put it away more times than I can count. This is not a "fun" face mask loaded with glitter and scented with strawberries. This is the real deal! It looks like something you would find in your college chem lab. So, you need your patience, you need time, and you need exactitude. So, go into this when you have the day free and can move step by step and with tremendous care.Since there is an excess of product here (deliberately), I started with the back of my one hand (because I was afraid I would be sensitive to the product). I followed all instructions precisely and, with no negative reaction, moved on to my face (same day). I let me body tell me when to move on if I felt uncomfortable and wanted to shorten the time of the active component of the peel just a bit.The overall experience was a bit nerve-racking but if you do it once or twice, I think it will become second nature ... and so much more convenient than my dermatologist's office! And, the more you use these, the more you will be willing to "push the envelope" a bit. The results were good, but I was timid about the process ... next time, I will feel more confident! Recommended!

This is such a fussy set for such invisible, non-evident results. There are all of these pretentious steps and in the end the peel falls flat. I did not feel it working, and after washing it off and waiting for days for any evidence that I'd even had a peel, I can truly say that it did nothing at all for my skin. It is overly gentle. I think the only things I like about the set are 1.) The scent of the neutralizer, and 2.) The post-peel serum that you use a few times a week. The serum actually feels like it is doing something. Overall the set is a fail.

This Glo Skin Beauty Beta-Clarity AHA Clarifying Peel is definitely not for an at home peel newbie or for someone with sensitive skin. Being someone that has been using at home peels like this for years I felt comfortable going for this higher AHA 20% concentrated peel. But I would only try this if you have experience with peels!The quality of everything included is pretty good for the most part. The actual products themselves are of good quality, though some of the little extras are not the best. But the peel itself works as one would expect a 20% AHA peel to work!If your going to try this definitely don’t do it right before a big event. You want to try this well before to see how your skin reacts, and you also want to give it a few days even then to see the best results. Overall I think for the results it’s totally worth it!

That said, I have super dry and sensitive skin but have been using retinols and vitamin C for years now and I need something a bit stronger.The instructions are easy to follow and there are step-by-step directions so this is super easy to use. My skin did fine with this set and it feels wonderful although a bit red. This is a sample kit but enough for about 2 uses. I love that it comes with reusable pads and a cute little headband.
