Helps my cats arthritis
I tried this on myself first, on my sore hip, but I sort of sat part way on it, and the next day I had diarrhea, lol. So I tried just positioning it beside my hip and it worked well! Then I started using it on my cat. I don't have her lie on it I just lean it over her hips. She has severe arthritis. We do this once daily and her walking has improved. She is so much happier to be able to get around the house and follow me and beg for pets and treats again.

Glad they came out with this
I got the original Assisi Loop late last year when my dog's arthritis required that he start seeing a specialist. So when the battery ran out and I needed a new one, I was very happy to see this loop lounge. The price point per treatment is a no brainer. I am able to lay the pad on him when he finally settles into sleep, much like we used the loop. The fact that is is bigger leads me to hope that both his back and his hip are being treated at the same time, so the treatments will give him more relief.Things to note:The user manual lists 5 included items - the controller, the pad, a charger with adapters, pad cover and coupler with extension cord. My charger did not have adapters and I did not receive a coupler with extension cord. The actual Assisi site shows the parts that I did receive for this item and does not mention adapters or an extension. I don't need them, but folks should be aware of the mismatch. I knocked a star off the review for this.I somehow thought that the pad would be more flexible, as the original was. It is literally "stiff as a board". I had hoped to drape it over my little guy while he slept. Instead I'm setting this hard board on top of him. He was only a little startled. I guess they assumed that most folks could get their animal to lie down on the board. They haven't met my little guy...I'll start a counter for how many uses I get just for the first bit to make sure how many we've had in case something goes wrong. Assuming it lasts the full four years, I'll not be keeping that counter beyond the 75 days the old loop lasted...
