Great, short read. Don't listen to the bad reviews.
The bad reviews are honestly people who dedicate their lives to bullying Jenelle in anyway they can. None of them actually read the book, otherwise they'd have different opinions. Seriously though, check on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc and see how those same people dedicate their online lives to bashing her. It's sad and Amazon should filter through the unverified purchases because they're lying. This book definitely gave more insight into Jenelle's life. She admits her faults, weaknesses, and mistakes. She's very open and raw; vulnerable. I wished to read more about her father but I think what I read was enough. I appreciated reading about her early life and how she made some very adult decisions, way before she should have, even before Jace. Definitely a good Kindle read.

I thought this was a good book, a great way to get to know Jenelle from her point of view
It was good to get to know Jenelle from her point of view and not the 15 minutes we see edited of her on MTV. She's a normal person just like the rest of us who had made her share of mistakes. However, she is growing up and learning from them. I see change in her from when she first appeared on 16 & pregnant. She deserves the chance to start over with a clean slate just like someone who's not in the public eye. In my opinion she is becoming a great mother, she's raising her children and doing a wonderful job. I truly believe she has come a long way!

Good read for the emotionally invested teen mom fan
I read it really fast, so I guess that's a good thing..But I really appreciated her honesty. That was a big one for me. She could've sugar coated everything and bs'd her way through it but she told it like it is and I really liked that. It might seem silly but I've been watching these girls from the beginning, I've seen their beautiful children being born and now grow up season after season and have seen all the ups and downs.. So id say im a diehard tm fan, its been what eight years now? So of course I want to see them doing well and it warms my heart to see Jenelle turning her life around much like I had to do in my own life. I relate a lot to her in many ways and I have even more respect for her after reading this book. It was nice to see her side if HER story and get to see where she's coming from. Id recommend it

Omg I loved this book
Omg I loved this book!! Jenelle has always been one of my favorite teen moms. I've been watching Jenelle since day 1 since her episode of 16 and pregnant. She has really really turned her life around and for the better. She felt like it was time to throw in the towl from her old life and start fresh and that she did. Im so proud of the woman and mother she has become for her kids and really am rooting for her to get her little boy back! I'm so thrilled she shared part of her childhood with her fans. I will definitely be reading this again!! Awesome job Jenelle

Being true to herself????
Couldn't believe this woman had any insight into her own impulsive, deceitful choices. I was right. She is a liar to people around her, but sadly never as much as to herself.Th recurring theme in her lie is everyone around her abuses her, lies to her, beats her, is mean to her. By the end of the first chapter, I found myself having to stifle the desire to slap her myself. I wanted to see if her fantasy self delusion changed. It didn't.I believe that now, like the longed fabled boy that cried wolf, she is married to the genuine article, a man who does truly abuse her and her children. Trouble is, she said it so much, not one person will believe her. How she keeps those poor little ones, deserves a documentary on the way social services is a farce.I will be extremely sad to see it happen, but real truth be told, I believe her current "man on a white horse" will one day murder one of her poor children, because social services and family court judges, failed to listen to the people know that her best and more importantly...the voices of little children.Save your money if you think you will find any hope for her. She lies to herself, better than the people she thinks she is smarter than. Barbara, if you read this, quit saving this woman, and focus on Jace, and continue to encourage Nathan's mother to rescue poor little Kaiser.DCF, police, court system...what in God's name are you thinking???SAVE THOSE CHILDREN.

Loved it
Jenelle was always the one every one loved hate on Teen Mom. Though I wish more would read her story. She explains so many things from her young life to now. Filling in all those gaps people just assumed or made rumors about. Very inspirational book and honestly hope she is still doing great and still healing from her childhood and her past.
