Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom Hardcover – July 25, 2017

Couldn't believe this woman had any insight into her own impulsive, deceitful choices. I was right. She is a liar to people around her, but sadly never as much as to herself.Th recurring theme in her lie is everyone around her abuses her, lies to her, beats her, is mean to her. By the end of the first chapter, I found myself having to stifle the desire to slap her myself. I wanted to see if her fantasy self delusion changed. It didn't.I believe that now, like the longed fabled boy that cried wolf, she is married to the genuine article, a man who does truly abuse her and her children. Trouble is, she said it so much, not one person will believe her. How she keeps those poor little ones, deserves a documentary on the way social services is a farce.I will be extremely sad to see it happen, but real truth be told, I believe her current "man on a white horse" will one day murder one of her poor children, because social services and family court judges, failed to listen to the people know that her best and more importantly...the voices of little children.Save your money if you think you will find any hope for her. She lies to herself, better than the people she thinks she is smarter than. Barbara, if you read this, quit saving this woman, and focus on Jace, and continue to encourage Nathan's mother to rescue poor little Kaiser.DCF, police, court system...what in God's name are you thinking???SAVE THOSE CHILDREN.

I bought this on my kindle for our trip to Myrtle beach (figured it was appropriate) and it was awful. It was basically just blaming all her problems on everyone else in her life. Also, this girl clearly has no self esteem- it's 99.99% about boys and boyfriends and fiances and husbands and fighting with them and how she loves each of them so much she can't survive without them. Poor girl needs help!! But in all honesty, I love teen mom just as much as the next girl, but, don't waste your money.

If you watch the 16 and pregnant series and Teen Mom you know everything in this book!! I was very disappointed....

All it is is her diary entries....then her talking about her diary entries...that you just read. She blames everyone else but herself. I feel like she wanted to write a book but with the least amount of effort. I thought it would talk more about her relationships that we all saw play out on tv but it was mostly about her boyfriends she had when she was like 12.

Don't waste your hard earned money on this garbage. Here's a summary of her book. She grew up in a family who were all crazy (except for her) and her Dad left, leaving her with daddy issues that she still hangs on to. It's her family's fault that she went on to become a slut and do drugs. It's her family's fault she keeps bringing terrible men into her life and then breeding with them. It's her mothers fault that she chose to go out and party, rather than stay home and help raise her first offspring. It's everyone's fault except for hers that her life is miserable even though she made all of her now adult choices on her own. Now that her biological family has been shunned from her new life in the middle of a swamp, she has a new person to blame for her anxiety (which her latest boyfriend claims she doesn't really have), illness and stress- her 3 year old son Kaiser aka "Dude". Bottom line, if you enjoy reading the ramblings of a pathological liar who clearly loves passing the blame of her own failures onto those around her, you may like it.

After watching the reality show and witnessing events happen right before my eyes, this book is nothing but lies. Don't waste your money it's nothing but fantasy, and Jenelle trying to make herself look good.

I thought this was going to be an honest look inside Jenelle Evans' life, her struggles with teenage pregnancy, addiction, etc. but it's nothing but a poorly written work of fiction. Anyone who is even vaguely familiar with her story can see that this "book" is full of revisionist history and flat out lies. I can't believe anyone wasted time publishing this garbage. It should have been called "From the Delusional Mind of a Spoiled Adult-Child."

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed reading Jenelle's book. I had been looking forward to her book since she gave a release date on it. I wanted to know the real Jenelle Evans and delve deeper into her story. I liked it very much. It's a good read in my opinion. If you're looking for something to pass the time I recommend this book. It wasn't a waste of money for me because there were topics Jenelle discussed that I could relate to. I'm a teen mom myself. Honestly, I almost didn't purchase the book because of the reviews. I thought to myself, "It can't be that bad." And I was not disappointed.However, there were some things I wish she would have gone into more detail about. Everything else has been shown on television. I stopped watching the show because there was too much drama, so I'm kind of in the dark about what's been going on in her life. I can't remember the last episode I watched, but for me the show just didn't grip me in. I'd read this book again after finishing it in one day.Anyway, good job. Not bad at all.

Absolute waste of time & money, very boring read about an immature brat who claims to have been "abused" all because her mother yelled at her, this girl needs a real problem

Loved having an insight to Jennel that there is no way mtv can manipulate for good viewing. She has had a crazy as expected life but doesn't blame anything other than her decisions for it. Great read
