I purchased this to put a fleet of rubber ducks on my dash board. I'd used double sided tape and that ticky tack bubblegum stuff and they'd still go sliding everywhere. This may was easy to install and has worked like a charm. No ducks have slid off no matter how hard I brake or turn. I live in VA where the summer heat can be 110° and it has not melted or had any issues.Overall, it's well worth the money. I imagine if it can hold an incredibly light weight rubber duck it would do an amazing job holding other, heavier objects as well.

Bought this after purchasing an Apple CarPlay that had an attachment arm for suction or adhesive but with the dash not being flat and I didn’t want to have to attached it via suction which probably would’ve stayed and the adhesive pretty much permanent. This dash non slip pad was a lifesaver. The 7’ CarPlay stays put. I can adjust the pad and have the ease of the CarPlay by just simply picking it up. There was no smell; functionality and use are great. Would buy again.

I put this on a tray that is supposed to be used for laptops but we use it for a TV tray.It is super sticky and it keeps my plate from sliding off but being that it’s super sticky it is difficult to reposition.

This was too sticky for what I wanted. I wanted something that would keep phones and other items from sliding off the seats. This is so sticky that it sticks to whatever you place on it and will lift up when you pick up those items. Probably great if you put stuff on it that you want to stay in place longer.

Even though it's not meant to be used this way. I tried it and it worked exceedingly good. I'm a wheelchair user and since I propel myself with my feet, I kept sliding forward. I put one of these pads on top of my cushion and it has made a world of difference.

It was working great and kept my phone in place. But after repeatedly being exposed to the summer sun and heat inside the car, it melted slightly and was leaving residue on everything. A piece got stuck on my dash and I ended up throwing it out. Wouldn't buy again.

Works great, didn’t realize it was sticky, I just thought the material made things not move. Works great for holding my baby monitor in my car on the dash without moving!

I have purchased these kinds of things before that can be placed on a dashboard to hold your phone in place as you’re traveling or even to put some kind of decoration. This thing feels slimy. The only reason that I do not return it is that I am putting it on a high shelf in the bathroom where I want to place a candle that won’t slip and hit somebody in the head. There is no way this thing is slipping. It is so tacky that the cord to my headphones got stuck to the back. It came off easily enough, but was definitely stuck. The shelf this thing sits on is pretty high so nobody will see it. However, I don’t have a lot of confidence in whether this would be safe for wood that you care about. It should fit on a dashboard nicely (a decent size), but if the car sits in the sun, I would check once a month to make sure that it doesn’t melt to the dashboard. It is sufficient for what I need, but if I was using it anywhere else, I would probably return it. It’s sticky like fly paper; there is serious adhesion going on here! lol
