A must read.
I bought this book not on amazon. But, at a nearby book store. I thought the story line was very conventional. But, the way it has been narrated is wonderful. It is an unputdownable must read. I loved each character and the way the surrounding tones have been absorbed by each one of them.

Light Hostel setup read, good translation
The book revolves around Bhagwandas Hostel in Banaras occupied by Law students. Suraj, the narrator and his friends- Dada, Navenduji, Jaivardhan and Dubey Ji are the main characters of the storyIf you have been a hosteller, this book would be a nostalgic read for you. The ragging, canteen runs, mess food and the likes. It almost made me feel FOMO

Witty and light hearted campus novel
What a read!! Witty and lighthearted novel with a twist towards the end. Highly recommended. Finished reading in just 2 days.

AWESOME!
Funny, because of jaivardhan's colorful explosive words and suraj's thoughts. The author has wonderfully described what goes on in a hostel.

Good quick read
It was a fast paced, quick read for me. I finished in one day.All the characters felt so real with their own positive and negative traits. My favorite was Anurag De, he seemed more mature than the others and I also might be a little biased because he is bengali😅.I really enjoyed their adventures of 3 years in BHU. Halfway through the book it felt like a heartwarming story but the author put a devastating twist with a series of events in which the major incident I know was very real. The book made me laugh out loud so many times, made me smile warmly and also made me anxious with anticipation. Also it was a really easy read for me because not only the story is based in my city but it is based in the area I live so I knew which places, shops the author was talking about. This book made me feel at home❤While I think it is best to read this book in hindi, the translation from hindi to english has been well done.

Translation not upto mark.
I brought the English translated book as I wanted to finish reading the book faster within 2-3 days. However, the plot was sometimes lost on me as the translation is not upto mark and there are a lot of grammatical errors too. Made the reading experience not enjoyable. If you can read hindi would be better to read the original rather. Don't usually write book reviews here as I am more concerned about getting the book in good condition and price. But was disappointed with this book.
