LITELOK CORE Flex - High Security Bike Lock - Sold Secure Gold - 75cm - Boa Green

This bike lock will definitely keep your bike safe but it’s incredibly heavy and I can’t attach it to my bike. I have to carry it in my rucksack which isn’t ideal

I have to say that in no way is this lock comfortable to wear around your waist. When my order arrived I was impressed by the quality of the product, but the ring of wire mesh is not flexible enough to be coiled down into a smaller size. At 1.76kg (I weighed it on two different sets of scales), it's hardly light...certainly lighter than other similar types of lock...but not worth boasting about. I'm a road cyclist and not a commuter so perhaps for the latter this is ideal and a happy compromise between weight and security? Given the value of my bike I have to have at least a Gold standard lock to satisfy my insurance company, but I have found a product called Seatylock Foldy Yes it's still not 'light' but it does attach to my bike in a far more conventional and acceptable way that I can live with. I would say this product is primarily for people who use their bikes for commuting or light leisure, so the weight isn't really an issue, but for long distance road cycling I would not buy this product, there are alternatives if you search hard enough. Thankfully Amazon accepted a return for me and a refund was given. It's a good well made lock, but not for everyone.

Gold security rated lock, I believe it is suitable for my ebike in combination with other locks; it is just big enough for me to secure the bottom down tube of the bike (which holds the battery) to a bike post.The locking mechanism is sturdy and has a cover to protect from the elements. It is heavy, but not unreasonable. Especially, for an ebike suitable gold lock.It does not coil well as suggested, it is a very stiff oval shape. The provided wearing equipment is very uncomfortable, as it digs into your stomach. I will be using a backpack to transport this, and using separate locks (2X Altor Apex Ti) to secure the wheels, and a small/ light weight abus chain to secure the saddle to the frame.Happy with the product, recommend it, but the wearable part needs work for comfort.

I use this to lock up an E-bike within my complex. Over night someone made a valiant attempt with what looks like a hacksaw. The inner stainless steel core barely has a scratch on it. The lock is still usable in my opinion. Absolutely worth the money.

Ordered this as a satisfied owner of several lower security Litelok bike locks as I needed a higher security lock for an e-bike to comply wiht insurance requirements.So I like what Litelok have to offer, but it had to go back for two reasons. First, as it was next to impossible to open / close - perhaps just a defect with the one that I happened to receive. Second, it's so inflexible and bulky that it's really hard to it around relatively narrow gaps in a bike frame / wheels and around a fixed object.There are better options out there at similar price and weight.

It should have come with 3 keys but only came with 2. It is also VERY hard to open and close but if you can get past that it does look strong.

It is so so sturdy that it's impossible to close and open when locking the bike. It also said there was no need to use the keys when closing it, which wasn't true with the one I've got. I've sent it back after many tentatives of handling it.
