I bought this for my son for work. Hes just starting out so i lile helping him with the small, but important things he may need. He lived getting it. I dont honestly know the first thing about it, but he is very happy with it, so i am too.

The item is very useful. It took me a bit of time to understand what the units are on each side. This is what i figured out:On the site that says "Metrish" the numbers correspond to the pitch between threads in mm (the distance between two threads as is usually reported in the metric system. On the site what says "Withworth" it is referring to the number as in Threads per Inch (4G means 4 threads per inch). Not sure why it has the G, but this is what i figured out. Hopefully this helps someone else.
