Q: I have the right size, why does my dog slip right out of the harness. I adjusted the straps and its a snug fit.

I have two dogs. The full grown one fits into it well. The puppy, however slips out of hers bc the front Velcro piece isn’t nearly snug enough. I removed one of the name labels, and instead of folding the Velcro strap across the front, I pull it back across the Velcro piece where the name would go and tuck in the excess. That solved the problem for me, so maybe it will work for you as well.

Q: Does this actually help with pulling?

This type of harness helps you be able to control your dog. It wraps around the chest area so it doesn’t choke your dog. If you leash you dog around the neck, the dog will be able to lunge, wiggle, get out of control and choke itself. With this harness the strap goes across the chest and another strap around the body. Therefore, if your dog lunges forward, he will only be able to stand on his hind legs, and you can recover your control.

Q: Is there anyway to add weights to this harness?

No. But remember this is around the neck of your pet and back area. You can clip on some weight but why?

Q: Can I order an additional patch? My dog is deaf and a therapy dog. I would like a patch she can wear when she is doing a therapy visit
