These reels are fantastic. Several reviews complained of poor build and poor material quality but this is not my experience. I bought two of them and a bonus is that each contained and extra spool so I can have spools ready with different line which is quite important when bass fishing.The price I paid for two of these is the same as what I paid for one Piscifun reel and would say they are at least as good from a quality and usability standpoint as the much more expensive reel.

Product is as described. But had no parts diagram as I had problem when spool was take off that there is a small circular sprocket type that fill off. That allowed the spool to sit bottom out the shaft and not move up or down. I found that part and replaced it. Reel now works as it should

I ordered this up for a new 5'6" ultralight rod I purchased. It's not a fancy rod and since it is ultralight, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a reel. For the money, this is a decent reel.I got it to target small pan fish like bluegill but occasionally hook into decent size bass so I loaded it up with 6 lb braid and run 4 lb leader.The quality was better than i expected for the price. It its very smooth and casts well, too. My only complaint is that it is heavy. Really heavy. I ordered a 1000 size and it feels about the same as my 3500 size Pflueger Supreme XT's. The weight made the reel/rod combo feel very unbalanced in my hands. Enough that I returned it. It would probably be a great option for light action 6' or 6'6" rod, just too heavy for my set up.

I am so happy with this new reel. I wanted to replace an old reel on a light rig and this new reel did that in aces. The way this reel works is so smoothe and the handle is just right for my hand which has a fused wrist, so it's difficult for me to use many of the reels unless I catch something and it's amazing, I always end up making it happen!! Anyhow this reel is going on an eagle claw four-piece rod. It bundles up nice and tight inside an old levi pants leg I cut off and asked my wife to sew a handle on so I can sling it over my shoulder for hiking. If your wondering about replacing a reel or just want a tough little addition that's easy to use give this reel a try. I have no problem recommending this brand or this reel. I have several reel in this brand and am happy with all of them. I don't baby them either. I live in Alaska and fishing in ice water bringing in fish that are for eating are serious as I enjoy eating. Get you one of these and have a blast and a good meal. Thanks.

This fishing reel performs better than any I have ever used. Very smooth reeling, no hanging up on casts, paid out line perfectly each time. Great performer and Great value.

So I started out buying this brand from ali because I needed something cheap and didn't care If it broke fast to my surprise this while affordable is well made and I started buying this brand when available

I live in north Idaho and do a lot of pike and smallmouth fishing on big lakes. I’m usually a Daiwa or Abu guy but took a gamble on this one just to see what it was about. The thing was always popping up under “fishing reels” every time I searched.The good: it works. The reel does what it needs to do most of the time, and the bearings are probably about the best part of the whole thing. Its very smooth, but also large and has some weight to it, so it balances ok when pitching plastics for finesse work. I’ve hooked and landed some nice smallmouth on it and it did well. Appearance is quite nice. For sure a “copy” of other manufacturers but I like the ported spool look.The bad: the spool sits really high on the threaded rod. It could legitimately sit closer to the body of the reel about a 1/4” more, I don’t know why it was designed so long!!! The bail also slaps the first retrieve of the line after the cast or any time there is slack, sometimes not winding it really well and even causing some knots by sending the line UNDER the spool and wrapping it around the shaft (also because the spool sits too far away from the body of the reel, see above). This means you have to disassemble the spool, unwrap the line from the reel shaft, reset the spool and reapply the drag nut. It got so annoying that I only use the reel for a back-up finesse set-up. If I had to cast crankbaits with this thing all day I’d probably return it. Also, the drag is extremely vague when setting it and when a fish pulls line on you. It just kind of… slips. No clicks or any indication that you have any control over losing line. I don’t believe it could handle the big pike we get up here, some of the big 6lb smallies made it seem inadequate.All in all, it’s a reel that works. Does it work well? I guess. Would I buy another? Probably not, but if I did it would only be for a back up.
