Recieved this item just in time to extract a broken bolt. It worked flawlessly with ease.Extractors seem to be of good quality as well as a good size variety to choose from for many different size uses.Has a nice carry case to keep them all in order.

I bought this Topec extractor set based on a You Tube video where a guy used it to remove a stuck differential drain plug. A 10 mm Hex differential plug on my Subaru stripped out and everything I tried would not remove this plug. With the Topec set I found the right size extractor, tapped it lightly with a hammer into the stripped plug and began to slowly turn the tool counter clockwise. I was amazed that after less than one complete turn the extractor grabbed hold, and with a 1/2 breaker bar I was able to break the frozen plug loose. The extractor did not budge inside the stuck plug, and with considerable force applied to it was able to free the plug. This worked way better than any Easy Out tool I ever used! Great tool...

I had a completely seized and stripped 8mm hex head plug in my 2JZ block. I needed the plug removed so I could run my water to air oil cooler. Almost immediately on attempting to remove the plug, the internal hex stripped (25 years in the block). I tried EVERYTHING (heat, penetrant, hammers, bigger plugs, wobble hex, torx, double hex, etc.) to no avail.My efforts succeeded in totally mangling the inside of the plug. Checked Amazon for extractors and this had the best overall reviews, especially with heavily seized bolts. I put a tiny bit of lube, hammered in the closest size extractor, and it tightened in the plug which was very seized. Applied about 75-100 lb ft of torque and broke the plug loose. Took literally less than one minute. I have purchased multiple Topec Extractor sets since February 25, 2021. I have the 5-Piece Heavy Duty Nut Bolt Remover set, 18-Piece Stripped Bolt Extractor Kit, 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set, 13pc 2-in-1 Screw Extractor Set and a second 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set. These have been being used daily in my two shops without fail. The material is of high quality and have never once had a tool fail or break during use. All the sets come in a nice sturdy case that keeps all pieces in order. I have had some of my workers loose or misplace a few pieces from the sets but after reaching out to Topec, they provided a way to get me the replacement pieces which was great. Overall, great quality tools at very good prices that will do exactly as described, if you know what you are doing and how to do it!

Extractor snapped under medium pressure with a socket wrench and is now lodged inside the bolt, making the problem significantly worse. I had drilled the appropriate hole into the broken bolt. Had treated the bolt with PB blaster for days prior. Had knocked it with a hammer to loosen. These extractors are not strong enough for a bolt which has become stuck to the point where the head has broken off, which is typically why you end up needing an extractor in the first place!!
