This has helped me sew much straighter and stays in place really well. It was easy to cut so it didn’t hang off the edge of the sewing machine. Since I have been quilting only, I don’t have much reason to move it to say whether it’s reusable.

These are really great for keeping a seam allowance accurate. Strips can be reused multiple times.

Keeps any length of stitch straight

This is a great idea, but not thick enough to act as a real seam guide. I like the flexibility of being able to remove it and replace it. Only problem is it goes over my bobbin case, so I have to move it when I need to change the bobbin.

As a quilter, I'm often needing to change where I'm stitching, depending on what I'm doing. I've learned that these purple edge strips are the perfect answer to keeping a straight stitch line, and also keeping it the exact distance from the needle that I need at the moment. I can peel it off when necessary. And stick it back on as needed. One strip will last a long time before it's necessary to replace it with a new one. I consider these indespensible. I used to have a hard time stitching a straight line; no more...these keep my fabric in a perfect line as it works it's way toward and under the foot.
