Del Destino Sliced Mangos 42 Oz Jar

I can’t get them open but they look good.

I love these mangos, I was buying them for 4.99 at costco. I saw them on here. I cant believe I paid $22.00 for one jar.

I threw the whole jar out after eating only a little bit. The taste is absolutely awful. If you can’t get fresh mangoes I suggest soaking dried mango slices or buying the frozen chunks which are much better than these. These are more like potatoes

Only half of them in the jar are ripe the other half are not ripe

Texture similar to canned fruit, esp. peaches. HOWEVER, these were very good and naturally sweet. The mango spears were large and intact. They had (Note: we ate them all) a refreshing taste. I like that I don't have to peel or slice them myself - pitting, peeling and slicing a mango is messy! I also use the juice to flavor my drinking water. I consider this a" gourmet" purchase because of the cost; but the convenience is worth paying for sometimes. I would buy again.

We purchased these mangoes at Costco. They my were a spr.ecial short term sale item for $4.95. GMT hey were gone in one day. We purchased 5 jars. They are the BEST mangoes we ever tasted that were not fresh. We are down to our last jar of 2 lb. 10 ounce jar.

I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. I got these at Costco as well. They do not even taste like mangos. They taste nearly identical (in flavor AND texture) to canned peaches.Perhaps the other reviewers have not had good mangos, but sorry, the flavors that makes a mango unique are missing from these.Don't get me wrong, they are pretty delicious. However, they have very little, if anything, in common with typical mangos. If you get this product with the full knowledge that they are essentially XL canned peaches, you will be pleased.

Purchased from Costco and I finally got the Jar open after doing additional Push Ups and Bicep Curls! Excited and ready to enjoy....NOT!!! The expiration date is 2/14/2023 and smelled more like 2/14/2003! I was hoping for a sweet mango scent, what I got was a sour, spoiled scent. Didn’t even chance it. So Disappointed!
