Very misleading description
Although these mugs are described as ' new bone china ' it gives the impression that they are of a similar quality to fine bone china. This description is very different from the item received. The mugs are quite heavy and thick, more like porcelain. The patterns are very nice and for the price I will keep to use as back-ups and make sure I order FINE bone china next time.

Nice Mugs
This is my 2nd purchase of these mugs, as they are sturdy, bone china (so don't scratch up from wear and tear ob the inside like porcelain), and great for coffee and soup. My only comment is that they are thicker at the lip of the mug than expected, and the gold line around the lip is wearing off after only a couple of weeks use, making them look a bit scruffy, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.
