Very happy with this product for the 2012 TDI Jetta Sportwagen with the late CJAA engine. In case you are unaware, there are two crank locks and this one is the correct one for this year! Quality and fit were perfect for the pump pins, crank locks and tensioner tool. The delivery was super quick and the lock saved a timing belt change from becoming a trip to the dealership!

This tool it work so good and very good quality

This has everything you need in it to retime a newer motor. From what I understand, earlier designs used more floating sprockets and may require a different kind of wrench that essentially works like an adjustable pin wrench.I timed a Mark 7 VW 2.0l TDI motor with the kit. Tools were good quality and well designed.

I was one that thought I could get away with not having to buy a specialty tool, but I caved and got this and it was well worth it. Life is so much easier when you get the tool made specifically for the job, who would have thought?! Worth the money.
