These grubs will catch fish. Even when the fishing conditions are tough, I managed to pull some fish out of the water. The only downside is that these are made from a REALLY soft plastic. I could only catch maybe one or two fish per grub before it was annihilated. Larger fish will snatch them right off the hook, and small pesky fish will pull the tails right off. I will definitely purchase them again, but will only use them when I am not catching fish on other baits.

Price was better than Yamamoto site. Product is good, but the head is a bit soft, which means limited life before you have to put on a new one.

Black is hard to find

Having used a variety of single tail grubs out there - the Yamamoto's performance is outstanding. That being said, you pay a premium for this grub and depending where you're fishing, the single curly tail may be chomped off by even the smallest peskies. Overall though, this bait will catch fish even with little to no finesse action on the retrieve. I regard this bait as essential and always have a healthy amount in my go-to tackle box.

What can you say about a grub, fishing will tell
