Best power supply for ROVE camera systems to ensure features work after the ignition is turned off. Plenty of cable length and "easy" installation to the fuse panel for power hookup. Comes with tools you will need to fish the wiring and pull fuses, plus ensures all features work when car is off.

This was my first dashcam. Very good quality hardware, installation was very smooth, easy and straightforward. Camera instructions were at first a little daunting but after a few uses became easy to use. Video resolution was very good. I would definitely recommend this brand and camera.

Purchased this Dash Cam after reading many reviews. This was pretty easy to set up in the car. I could not hard wire it due to the placement of my fuze box but it works fine plugged into the dashboard. The camera views are great and the resolution is nice. I like that I get the front and the back recordings. I have it attached to the window with the suction cup. It did fall off once but it seems to stay in place. I like that it records one minute increments so it is easy to locate a video without having to watch long videos. There are some things I would like to try that I haven't but overall this is a great dash cam camera.

You might think that you can wire this camera without the cost of this kit. If you are an electrician, then maybe you are right. If you are like me, smart and have some skills, this kit will make the job take only about 20 minutes at most. It has all the necessary parts to tap into your vehicle's fuse panel, including all the required components, regardless of the type of fuse panel you have. Additionally, it features a convenient switch that allows you to set it for the specific type of car or truck you have. This kit makes it so simple to set up.

I have appreciated product design, presentation, and packaging since really noticing it for the first time when I got an iPhone in 2007. Save for the somewhat gaudy illustrations on the Rove packaging, this product is the most thoroughly executed and well-put-together item I have ever purchased (not just dash cam….the best of any product I’ve purchased. Seriously).It includes every single thing you could possibly need to do the installation, including beautiful full color instructions that are clear and easy to understand. When purchasing along with the ultimate hardware kit, you also get various add-a-fuse wires to enable installation in any vehicle (ALMOST - will come back to this below), as well as thoughtful additions like electrostatic film to allow for easy removal/repositioning of the cameras and high-quality USB cables of multiple lengths. Even “this car protected by dash cam” stickers!Seriously, they thought of everything and it’s all high quality and beautifully presented.My only tiny, tiny gripe (and it is not anything related to the cameras or packaging themselves) is that my vehicle, a Mazda CX-30, can’t use the handy dandy add-a-fuse for the ACC wire to enable Parking Mode with the hardwire kit sold separately. I was able to use one for the constant-power wire, but I ended up having to teach myself basic car electronics and spend a LOT of time doing online research before locating/tapping into an in-cabin switched 12V wire to enable parking mode (which was a must for me).The only way in which I would fault Rove for this is that they need to add late model Mazdas to the list of “vehicles that are incompatible with the hardwire kit” when it comes to parking mode. At least then I would’ve known to do some research and I would’ve saved myself a headache thinking that the product I purchased would be able to be installed out of the box with no problems. Again, a tiny gripe and it was in no way dissuade me from ordering this again.The reality is that I still would’ve purchased both this camera and the hardwire kit, I just would’ve known going in that I need to do this separate tap…Overall, after spending way too long researching dash cams I highly recommend this one - and if you don’t own a Mazda, installation is a total breeze!INSTALLATION: Easy* (see above)QUALITY: 10/10PACKAGING: 10/10INSTRUCTIONS: 10/10CAMERA QUALITY: 10/10SETUP: EASY

The kit is great. It has everything you need to identify the circuits to tap into and several styles of fuse block taps that safely and easily pull power from your fuse block.

Works perfectly to get the dashcam hardwired. Everything fit right in seamlessly. I like having my dashcam hardwired so it can function when my car is off and catch those parking lot bandits that like scratching up your car or hitting it with their door or buggies. You know who you are. Stop it. Respect other's property. Park correctly instead of right on the line so you can open your door properly instead of banging into mine. And drive right. Dashcams are a necessary item in cars now. They are a fabulous witness.
