I’ve had covers like this before and returned because they were always using Velcro straps, and it would always end in destruction and jailbreak. However, I took a chance on this one with the buckles, and it did not disappoint. Our dog stays put, and can no longer wreak havoc on our house when she decides a game of Houdini would be fun. Dog mom approved!Update: The cover was completely destroyed by our pups after jumping and pulling on it a good amount. The clasps are like fun chew toys to puppies if they’re able to get a hold of one, but even with them broken, I was able to half tie them around each side to stay in place. That lasted a couple days before they scratched the material wide open with their claws and made a jailbreak during the night. I tried to use some clips to hold the tears open but it was more so wishful thinking and desperation rather than a viable solution, haha. This will be good if the kennel that your covering has some decent height to it but unfortunately, most of the playpen style kennels are 2 feet or less so it is within reach for any type of small dog who can jump. After this gave out, I actually ended up using the large boxes that the playpen and some other items came in and broke them down flat to put over the kennel with a couple of baskets filled with bathroom supplies to weigh them down so the pups couldn’t get out. Not the most pleasing to the eye, but it did a heck of a good job! I’m leaving this as a 5-star review for the product because it did exactly what it was supposed to do and the dimensions are spot on and designed well for the style of playpen that this covers. My gripe has more so to do with the dimensions of the playpen itself because the extremely low profile makes it much too easy for even the smallest of dogs to have access to the top because of its design flaw.

This was perfect for when my puppies were born. Kept them safe and Mom could get to them when she needed to. I had to get more for when they started walking around.

Simply perfect. Easy clean up. Easy install. Perfect for a small area.

It’s not so absorbent. My rug still gets wet. The size is great wish it was a couple inches bigger though on the sides . Love that it is washable. I originally got it so I wouldn’t have to wash the floor after accidents from my pup.

This is the perfect for the play pen. It’s so pretty and easy to put down. It wipes cleans. I don’t actually makes my Yorkie pee on it but I use it protect my floor especially since his playpen is close to my home lab. So if any spills occur from his water bowl or off the pee pee pad then this would catch it. I love how it looks and how easy it is to vaccum up crumbs and wipe up spills.

Then, of course it’s useless as it’s too small for the square puppy pen. I bought three of these to rotate with a new puppy. I washed in cold water and hung them to air dry and did everything I was supposed to and all of the ones I bought are useless. Unfortunately it was too late to return. I then bought two of the hexagonal to use with a square puppy pen as l liked that these said they were waterproof, and I find these leaked through onto my wood floor. A huge investment and all five products are useless for training a puppy. Very annoyed that I spent so much money on products that I cannot use & cannot return. Absolute waste of money!!!!!

I’m so excited it’ll be so so perfect for my new puppy it’s very durable and the perfect size. Also the mat didn’t come with but it’s a very great but together purchase Especially for a puppy!

This pad is like a small baby quilt but has a rubber backing to prevent leaking.
