A good filament with excellent color that comes well wound on plastic spools rather than cheap cardboard spools that almost guarantee print problems. Recommend!

As described. I find some filament better quality than others. This is one of the better ones. Sticks to build plate reliably, looks great after printing.

This is an updated review after using 1/2 kilo.My first review for this filament wasn't exactly glowing but after working with it and getting the settings dialed in I've come to really like this filament.I initially complained about the flexibility of this filament but I'm not complaining anymore. This is some insanely tough stuff, once you get the settings dialed in this stuff is insane. While dialing in the settings for this filament I used a single wall calibration box file to tweak things, the final box was absolutely indestructible. This stuff created a single wall open top box that I could not crush or delaminate with anything outside of a bench vise. That same box run in Ovation filament was capable of being destroyed with bare hands, not this stuff. It literally took crushing it in a vise to destroy it and even then it simply crumpled instead of delaminating or snapping. I've now printed multiple thin walled prints with this stuff and I have zero fear that they will break or delaminate.I'm not a huge fan of how shiny this stuff is but I'll overlook the shine for the level of strength this filament displays. I'm still getting a fair amount of ringing on prints, I've altered settings left and right trying to eliminate that but it's been a no-go so far. Again, it's something I'm willing to overlook for the strength of this filament.While the listing here gives a minimum bed temp for adhesion the box states it's capable of being printed on a dead cold bed. I've found that to be untrue and it does need at least a temperature of 55°C to adhere properly.It seema to like a fairly high temperature on the hot end, 190°C, to run dependably but I've experienced zero issues with clogging of feeding and I'll happily run that hot to get the toughest prints I've ever made.Overall great stuff and another Sunlu product that makes me more of a fan of Sunlu than I already was. This stuff will be my go to structural filament as long as Sunlu produces it.

Works great in my Bambu PS1

Sunlu Meta PLA is an excellent filament for use with high speed printers such as the Bambu A1, A1 mini, or QIDI coreXY printers when combined with a 0.2mm nozzle AND high detail printing profiles such as those from Fat Dragon Games. Probably other high speed CoreXY / Voron style machines with a 0.2mm nozzle as well. It prints decently on my old heavily modded E3V2 with linear rails and a Micro Swiss linear rail print head and 0.2mm nozzle, but not as well as it does on my A1 Mini. It's OK on my Ratrig VMinion, but that printer does not function well with a 0.2 mm nozzle so it's only been tested with a 0.4 mm nozzle.You CAN print HO scale figures, small track side structures or details, and 28 to 32 mm miniatures with near resin quality with this filament and the right profiles. After testing this out with a single roll of Meta, I've ordered three more rolls just to keep on hand.If you try using it on your run of the mill bed slinger as a general purpose filament you will likely be disappointed by the stringing and print quality. I've also seen this with other makers high speed formulations, it's not unique to Sunlu. So - GREAT filament for my needs, COSPLAY folks probably won't find this filament very useful. Even if you can print fast, using standard 0.4 mm (or larger) nozzles will not get the best from this filament. At least my printers do better using Hatchbox or Polymaker PLA+ than with this particular filament when fitted with 0.4 or larger nozzles, but to be fair I've never spent much time trying to perfect a printing profile for Meta with a larger nozzle.
