Came quickly. Very nice and simple display. Simple to operate and easy to read. Drop the batt in and done. The backlight is smart to have. I got it for humidity control. The AAA batt should run for a long time. Overall, god design.

I bought one cheap hydgrometer and this one, which was a little more expensive. This one matches the humidity level on the dehumidifier I bought and may be off 1 degree from time to time, but never more. The cheaper one is off up to 4 degrees. Worth the extra couple of dollars.

I got this mostly to check the humidity in my apartment. I liked the way it looked and the size so I got it. I set it up in the kitchen. So far it is 1 or 2 degrees lower than the living room where the heat source is. I think that is normal. The humidity shows at 60 percent and went higher during a couple of cold days. Now that the heat is on, the humidity percentage is showing only 40 percent. Not sure if the the humidity is showing correct with this device but it's working. The temp is correct as I checked it with another thermometer. It is very easy to read and can be hung on the wall, set on a table or desk, and even has magnet on the back to hang it on the fridge. There is also a light that comes on with the push of a button and stays on maybe 10 seconds. There are settings to use for Celsius or Fahrenheit measuring. One last button allows you to see the highest recordings or lowest. Or push again to show current readings. For the money it's nice, attractive , and runs only on one AAA battery which comes with it. Highly recommended!

I bought this to replace an old hygrometer that wasn't working anymore. I have some expensive guitars and a nice piano that can be damaged when the air is too dry, so it is important to know the humidity. With this device I know when it is getting too low. I can either turn on the humidifier or put the guitars in their cases. For only a few bucks, it is worth some peace of mind. It happens to be pretty nice looking too, and even has a back light. For my needs, it works great.
