Before reading this book, I've never thought that affirmations have this much power on our mind, and how to properly practice it. I have written down about 10 affirmations that I like and I will speak them out loud morning and night time. Highly recommended.

I'm a believer in affirmations so a book geared towards women in business was an easy sell for me. Easy to follow and lighthearted, this is one of those books to keep on your shelves.

Some of the affirmations I really liked and some I didn’t. I liked the one that said, “I am going to make a positive impact on the world”. To me, that one is a good way to have a positive mindset and keep in mind that what I do really can make a difference. I didn’t like the one that said, “The universe has my back…” I don’t know, maybe the problem is me and I’m just jaded. But my experience in life has not been that the universe has my back. I’ve had plenty of things happen to me that should not have happened. I can’t control what other people do. I can just control what I do moving forward. And I choose to not let those things define my life. Moving forward I will have a fulfilling life and I will make a positive impact in the world.I like the positive affirmations in this book that to me seem realistic and a good way to focus on the positive. I’m not a big fan of the affirmations in this book that to me seem like I would be trying to find hope in something that’s not going to work.

Good book

I just closed it after first 50 pages - it's untrue what's written about women - they are not supposed for career and it's not evolutionary to force women to seek career achievements. Terrible knowledge about women and their true will.
