Very good quality, made to last. Works extremely well.

Slotted neatly between fan & hose; rubber gasket ensures a decent seal when flaps are closed. Springs were a little too strong for vertical use (mounted on ceiling fan) but was easy to twist the arms round so that the flaps were simply held down mostly by gravity; utility room is far warmer now, and fan still works when it needs to.

Where i live can be quite windy at times, and my bathrooms where cold with the draught coming through. This product worked, about 70% better. Simple install, well made, decent price. I had to add spongey tape to get a snug fit. Would recommend 👍

Well made item but, as a number of other people have found, the spring was too strong for my Manrose ceiling extractor fan and it wouldn't open. I found the best way to adjust it was by bending the ends of the spring back (there's only one) using a couple of long nosed pliers to release the pressure. A real pain to keep on fitting it and trying it out to check that pressure was right and then having to take it down again. why don't the makers sort this out or provide another model with a lower pressure spring for this type of less-powerful extractor?

Really good well made product used to replace an existing backdraft fitting which just rattled in the slightest wind. Easy to fit & went inside existing 6” duct with no problems.

Really well made, I used on a Neff cooker hood and the flaps opened with ease even on the the lowest setting,some reviews suggest that the spring is too strong, seems perfect for a cooker hood especially if placed as close to the fan as possible, I doubt a tumble drying for example would have enough power

Build quality is good, fits well and is good value for money, light weight
