Just works, and really well
Dont normally give reviews for good products i give my hard earned money already, but Home depot use to sell a device like this but theirs were very stiff, i immediately notice the smoothness of opening and closing the hinge, I have a custom built 8ft by 19in gaming desk mounted on it no issues. the desk is essentially an entire 8'x4' .75 mdf sheet cut to fit around a woden frame to appear as a very thich desk and that it is so this desk is very heavy and it hold well, i used toggle bolts to install their hardware is only good for shelves but not a legit desk, just use toggle bolts, or bolts

No instructions but I got fixed
Everything they claimed is true. Sturdy, well made, smooth action and strong. The main problem with no instructions is the inability to correct the problem. I am not a novice but with every effort I could not get it to close completely flat. I verified square and level. Reworked and verified the arms were parallel. I removed the shelf and they closed correctly. I reinstalled the shelf and it would not close. A moment of clarity hit me and I installed a shim between the shelf and the bracket. It now closes perfectly. If only there some instructions a lot of frustration and perspiration would have made it helpful.

Strong, sturdy, easy to collapse when not in use.
These are very sturdy and easy to collapse. We have a “floating island” in our kitchen that had a 4’ butcher block top. We needed to make it smaller but I didn’t want to lose the work space. I found these folding brackets on Amazon and turned my butcher block island into a drop leaf. It works perfectly we did need to add supports inside the cabinet but the brackets are very strong and support the weight of whatever I need the space for. They made my island functional yet small enough to fit in a smaller space.

Works great on my table saw extension
I added an extension to my table saw and used the existing holes on the back of my grizzly table saw and they work great.
