Good quality
This is such a useful power supply. From 3v-24v 3 amp 72watt supply in increments of 0.1v, with clear led display. Works well, stable, runs cool, has screw hole fitting for wall/floor mounting. I am using some of these in my recording studio on old/fragile/expensive equipment. Had no problems. I'm sure they would be equally good on railway layouts etc. Be aware it takes a careful hand on the 'knob'.. to set the exact voltage, but once it's done. it's done.

Working great for a few months of intermittent use
I ordered two of these with my own money. Not affiliated with the manufacturer in any way. worked great for a tv for a short time (I accidentally smashed the screen when I disassembled the tv to swap out some lights inside it) and then now I use these for powering up 5 meter strips of 24v LED strips. I can confirm it can dim the light all the way from zero to maximum brightness using the voltage knob. In a few specific voltages there's a little flicker in the lights but if you turn the knob a few tenths of a volt it will go back to normal. No PMW flicker so these should be good for video lighting. Though I didn't test high frame rates. No noticable noise issues. Great screen that appears to be actually measuring the voltage. There's a strange burst of power that comes out after it is turned off. With the light it makes the light shine up again for a split second. Not sure what's up with that but it's not a major issue for me. Both units do this. Overall very happy. Versatile and appears to be very well made for the price.

Flexible PSU but not really suitable on the Road
This PSU is very versatile with multiple power connectors and variable outpt voltage at up to a quoted 120W capacity. I bought it to replace a dead 19V 90W PSU for an older laptop. When powering this it does get quite warm but probably no hotter than many other laptop supplies I have used. However what it would be like running flat out (30% higher load) I don't know but probably hotter than I would feel comfortable with. What is not clear from the specification is that the output voltage control is continuously variable. This means that unless one is careful with the siting of the unit the knob could be knocked and the voltage changed with disastrous consequenses. As such I don't think it ideal as an "on the move" device. In fact the case even has mounting holes at each end so it can be fixed to a bench or something. Coupled with the relatively short and captive mains supply lead it feels more suitable as a test bench supply cabable of powering almost anything and everything. This makes it a very useful device if that is what you are after. I found the built in voltage indicator consistently slightly (0.4V) optimisitic compared with the voltage on the output connector, even under no load and the discrepancy didn't seem load dependant. I did notice, however, the voltage sagging with use by up to 1.5V for a nominal 19V output. This was not directly load dependant but more thermal drift. As the unit got hot under load the voltage sagged. Remove the load and the voltage only returned to the original value as the unit cooled down, not immediately the load was removed. To be fair though I have no idea of the stabilty of most laptop PSU's as they are under load/heat up since they don't atually include any display. The laptop I used it with didn't seem fazed by this slight drop in use so I was loathe to adjust it in case I forgot to reduce it again under light load and overvoltaged the computer. For my use case its almost ideal, only the slight displayed voltage error and thermal drift losing it its final star. The flexibility it offers though for testing devices or powering them in an emergency is hard to beat.

Exactly what was needed at a good price
Works exactly as needed for little money, multiple connectors prove really useful with adjustable voltage making it an ideal piece of kit if you lose a power supply

Very handy for my needs
Good adjustable power adaptor that was needed for my LED lights. Thanks.

Accurate out puts in terms of voltage
Tested various outputs with multi meter and what the dial says this puts out. Happy the adaptor is chunky " a sign of reliability" if like your movie quotes. This will get lots of equipment working again without the fuss and guess work. Definitely the purchase no regrets at all.

great adapter, although wrong polarity on reverse adapter!
Great little adapter, I've bought two of these so far. very useful and the built in voltage display is very accurate. Would have been 5 stars, however the second adapter I bought has an incorrectly wired reverse polarity adapter which is still centre positive. Luckily I checked it with a multimeter before I plugged it in, I would recommend you check it with a meter before you use it!

Great for many things
I bought this power supply to use as a speed adjuster for a used washing machine motor that I am using as a DC motor for rotating different things. It works great for that but I can also use it as a power supply for all my devices like phones and laptops because I bought it with all the adapters. I just have to set it to the correct volts for the device.
