Digital Portable Overhead USB Distance Teaching Document Camera LV-1020 (White)

The software is terrible, very difficult to get a stable image. That being said, the camera using just the Windows camera does everything I need it to do for a great deal less money. I recomend this document camera to anyone who doesn't need a lot of image flexibility.

The hardware seems nice enough for the price, but the software is so bad it's almost completely unusable. Many functions crash repeatedly or won't even load, including the basic document camera itself. The screen recorder is inconsistent, sometimes it records sound but no picture and sometimes the opposite. I haven't even bothered trying the fancier functions, because the software won't stay running long enough. I'm using Windows 10 on a Surface Book 2.

Poor quality image

This is a high quality scanner, and much better built than the Ipevo Ziggy it replaced (because it broke). But, it has some quirks too. The scanning direction is 90 degrees off from what I like. Also, the software is a mess. I think it would work great in a classroom or presentation application. Windows 10 camera works with it just fine.

love it, was exactly as described!

I tried to use this to show tabletop figures and maps for a Zoom D&D campaign. I don't understand how a video camera sold in 2020 could be this bad. The refresh rate is unbelievably slow - if you move something, it takes a good 15 seconds or more before the image on the screen changes. Video quality is terrible - grainy, low contrast, terrible details. Image is upside down from how you would expect the camera orientation to be. I was an A/V tech at a hospital in 1991 and we had a video version of an old-school overhead projector that was infinitely better than this. The seller should be ashamed of even listing this product for sale.
