I got this clear keyboard protector for my Acer laptop to keep dust and crumbs out of the keys, and overall I’m really happy with it. At first, it felt a little strange typing on — the texture is softer and slightly different from the bare keys — but after a few days I barely noticed it anymore. It fits perfectly, lining up with every key, and it doesn’t slide around or interfere with typing once you get used to it. It’s also completely clear, so you can still see the backlighting and key labels easily. It’s doing a great job keeping my keyboard clean and looking new, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their laptop without changing the look.

It won't stay on and too hard.

This fits perfectly on the Acer AN17 and was very easy to install as it just sits right on top with no adhesives. It does make the LED lights beneath the keys a bit dimmer thanks to the not quite clear plastic of the cover and it also makes the keys a bit mushy. However, I think that for the protection it provides from crumbs and potentially liquids, this a no brainier. The box also came with a few stickers, notably a few small circles and a long oval piece. I'm not sure what these are intended to be used for, possibly pinning the keyboard cover down? I'd like to see some instructions included in the box for these stickers, but the keyboard cover otherwise sits fine without any adhesives or stickers.

Works great and keeps the laptop clean. Got this for my son since his keys were starting to become loose from the excessive gaming all day and night. So not this holds the keys in place and keeps it clean. Now we have endless hours of gaming and yelling!!

I’m so grateful I opted for buying this product rather than a super pricy keyboard replacement. It works well and is described accurately. It’s super thing and never slides off my keys.
