This super hitch went in like a breeze. Quick and easy. awesome hitch

Torklift may make some strong, innovative products but their product quality and revision control is damn poor. Received the hitch with two different side plate configurations. One made for 5/8" frame mounting hardware, and one for 1/2" hardware. Instructions written for 5/8" hardware but there was none received. Called Torklift and Jordan suggested getting correct hardware at hardware store and enlarging holes with a die grinder. This after i spent ca. $1,200 on hitch and extension - this is ridiculous!! Also, ribbed bolts were loss in crossbar attach on one side only! Suppose to be a tight fit! The hitch, truss extension, and frame tie down (separate order) all looked like they were dragged across a concrete floor and in some places there was exposed steel (i.e., rust). So much for robust powder coat. One more important thing, when i went to install the SuperTruss extension the four 1/4" bar stock steel shims were missing! Unless this company focuses on quality and improved systems when their patents run out they will be in trouble!!Photo shows mounting surface of side plates with different size holes. Very well made, solid hitch. Luckily, it comes unassembled. If it were one piece, I don't think I would have been able to lift it into position to install it. Seriously, I had no problem carrying the stock hitch with one hand, but I could barely lift the box with this one in it. This hitch is clearly much stronger than the stock one. Came with all hardware needed for installation (good quality hardware, even), including bolt fishers for the bolts that were hard to reach. My only (minor) gripe is that I wish it would retain the stock hitch-to-frame bolts, which were considerably larger than the ones included.

I took my original off my F-350 and could easily carry it. The torklift was way too heavy and I couldn't install by myself. Had to pay to have it properly installed but it was worth it. Really well built and super stout. Thanks

nice high quality hitch. Fit perfectly on my 1999 F-250 long bed, crew cab diesel. I got the torklift R3503 rear tie downs that fit perfectly. I modified the hitch electrical connector to keep it from attaching so low.

It bolted up just like the ads said it would. This is a two person job and we did it with a lift. It would be a bear to install off a creeper! First time install for us & it took about 1 hour; most of that time spent fighting with the spare tire.

Very heavy duty, installation was fairly easy, wish the directions and photos were better, but installed alone in about 2+ hours including removing the stock one. Shipping was very quick!

Excellent product, The Best! But it loses two stars for being overpriced.
