Easy to install
I would give it five stars, but I found the side metal springs that hold the piece set in the roof, to be sometimes coming off. Other than that the product is great and very easy to install.

Quality product
This is the perfect fit for standard six inch recessed lighting cans. Be warned though that if you have any adjustable depth cans, like those sold at Lowes, that these will be to long to fit in snuggly. But that is an issue with those crappy cans, not with this product. These are A++.

Just ok
They are good looking and sturdy. The spring wire is terrible and nothing like most other cones with the spring wire. Most came off during installation and were very difficult to make it work properly. Because of the spring wire, I would not buy again.

Would buy again.
I recently installed 25 of these in my house (13 downstairs, 12 up). All but one fit perfectly on the first try and i haven't figured out if its the trim or the can that is the actual issue yet. I like that they are metal as most of them are plastic and more expensive, they seem sturdy and fit really nice and flush. I like how you can clip the can socket to the trim so your lights are in the center of the can/trim and not cockeyed.I tried Philips warm glow BR40's first but they protruded out of the trim about 3/4 inch and i didnt like how they looked. I switched to Philips warm glow BR30's and they look good. I will say that the BR30's look a little small in the trim, maybe a 1/2 to 3/4 gap between the bulb and trim all the way around but once you get them up in the ceiling it looks fine but i see how it could bother some people. Most of them come with a little black sticky foam thing that i thing you are supposed to put around where you clip in the light socket from the can to make it "airtight". I didnt use these as i dont see the point and i dont think they would actually do anything, i feel as long as you have IC rated cans and you pack insulation around them it work just fine. If you want to seal these up with caulk tape under the trim edge or whatever buy it separately, this and the slight issue of BR40s being too big and BR30's kind of swimming in the can are why i gave 4 stars. I really dont thing you can find a better quality metal trim for the money, like i said i have 25 of them and i would buy them again. I dont have a great picture of the fit but ill upload one if i remember.

Poor Quality Control and I Love these
If you purchase the clips these are really easy to install, the clips are a bit of a challenge at first but then you get the hang of it. I purchased 16 of these recessed light trim in order to replace the ugly plastic ones I had. See before and after images. The box arrived undamaged however and 15 arrived in perfect condition. One arrived bent (see images), since the packaging itself was not the problem, this tells me that the company has no quality control and will ship you whatever they have in hand even if it's defective. I have reached out to the company in hopes that they can replace the bent one. I love the way these look and will give 5 stars once the bent one is replaced. These are beautiful and they look like they will last a long time.

Great value for an easy upgrade/update to your ceiling lights
They are a bit flimsy and can be accidentally bent at the edges if you do not take some care in installing them. Installing them is not complicated, but can be a bit challenging to insert the spring loaded arms in the outer can light fixture with large hands. Not easy to see or get your hands in the necessary work space. Occasionally the spring arms themselves can also disengage / detach from the fixture. With not much experience you can get past that. I have now installed over 100 of these and perhaps only had issues with less than 5, and probably only was not able to proceed using one was one time. They are also easily painted. I painted several to match a colored ceiling and was very pleased. This is very much a good DIY project.

Great Price, Nice Facelift for Lights, Easy to Install
All of the light fixtures in my son's 14 year old house were rusty from humidity in the kitchen and bathroom so we upgraded all of them to these after the house was painted. What a difference! With LED light bulbs that are daylight, these look great! My son and I installed them easily, but we had to remove the springs attached and use the ones already in the cans. Once we figured that out it was smooth sailing. :)
