I had a pro guard prior to having dental work done. Since I need more work done but still needed something for my nighttime grinding I tried this one. It’s a little bulkier but it fits me well and stays on while I sleep. It did take a couple tries to get the fit right. Still getting used to it and hoping it lasts a while.

This is my second night guard by Dentemp. I really liked the first one, it lasted for months and was comfortable to wear. This one broke after two nights. The bridge holding the two sides together is too narrow.

This will be the fourth time purchasing this item. I swap them out periodically for hygiene purpose. None have failed yet. The comfort on this particular one is different. It’s more comfortable which is nice. I use this for weight lifting and not sleep. It keeps me from clenching my jaw and causing neck pain. This new one however has a much thinner plastic connecting the portions that go over the teeth. While it hasn’t failed yet, I worry this will reduce the longevity of the product.

My clenching and grinding got so bad that it caused some root damage under a crown. My dentist suggested I try using a dental guard to see if the root issue would resolve itself on its own - otherwise I would probably have to have a root canal. When I balked at spending $600 for a dental guard and explained I had been unable to successfully sleep with one in my mouth in the past, she recommended I try the Ora-Guard, and only the Ora-Guard. She shared that many people who had the same issues as me, were thrilled with the Ora-Guard dental guard. (I think my dentist thought I would come back to her and have her make the $600 dental guard for me afterwards. But, the Ora-Guard worked so well for me that I will never use anything else! Why spend $600 when you can spend $30? Not only is it a "steal" price-wise compared to what dentists charge for dental guards, the Ora-Guard was very easy to use - comes with simple clear easy to follow instructions. I actually called the Company when I did have some questions and they were incredibly responsive to me. They had a "real person" available to answer my questions. I have been using it now for over six months and I could not be happier. For some reason, the design of this guard doesn't bother me like the ones I got from the dentist did, and I am able to sleep with it in my mouth. It worked so well that my root problem did in fact resolve itself on its own and that meant NO ROOT CANAL necessary!!!! I think it is very reasonably priced, works extremely well and I pray that they never go out of business. Highly recommend this product!!!! Absolutely LOVE it!

I've been using this product for years and LOVE them - however, the last 2 have snapped apart the 1st morning after wearing - total bummer!!! Clearly, this never happened before and now to have it happen again with the replacement product it's making me question the product quality - did they change the specs or manufacturer? So sad

I have used this product for a number of years and been satisfied but out of the last 4 purchased 2 did not hold up at all. The product broke at the center and pictures were sent of the product to the manufacturer because there was a money back guarantee but never got a refund. That was a disappointment. I use this product every night and like the way it fits. I could not find another product that fit as well. The product came on time but have not used this new one yet.

This product works just fine, which is AMAZING to me. The dentist wanted $600 for their custom fitted dental guard.It was easy to boil and fit the Ora-GUARD, even though I had to do it twice. See, first I tried it on the bottom teeth, like some reviewers suggested. Nope. That sucked. (Don't do that! It was not comfortable!) So I had to re-fit it for the top teeth. Luckily that actually works.The one complaint I have is that the springiness of the plastic connecting the two sides is not easily adjusted. So if your mouth is larger or smaller than the default (it probably is), it's really hard to "train" the plastic not to squeeze your teeth apart or closer together. But I got it after a few days.I can sleep just fine with these in, and I don't chew them all night like I do with the disposable ones (those suck).

I used to love these and still do I just wish they didn't break. They seem weaker. The times they broke wasn't even in my mouth, I leaned on it on my bed not realizing it was there and it snapped int he middle, another time I hit it with something accidently and it snapped off and I don't remember the 3rd time but they were all pretty light incidents and for them the break was so disappointing. I want another one but afraid to buy it.
