this thing doesn't come remotely close to fitting an IBC tote. over an inch. too small for the big lid and an inch too large for the small one

Bought these to help filter rainwater collected from the roof and stored in barrels. Been about a year nwo and the filter looks to be holding up. It's done a good job at filtering out sediment, even fine materials. Just remembere, it needs to be cleaned out every so often, depending upon how much material builds up.

Not really sure what this is supposed to fit. It's too small to replace the entire lid and too big to fit in the standard vent hole on the lid. It's 4" diameter. I will be using a hole saw to cut a 4" hole in a standard IBC lid and using it that way. The filter itself is very nice quality and it will work great, just know that you will need to do some work to make it fit.

Didn’t read the reviews, whoops. Just assumed it sat at the bottom of the 2” threaded upending. I’m also really no sure what the idea is here. Maybe just stuffed in the hole with your pipe above it? Definitely not gonna work with my sealed tank inside my cabin that way. Might try glueing and/or screwing it on the underside of the cover

I live on someone else’s property and they have wonderfully large water tanks. The problems arise when the truck comes to full the five tanks. Leaves and other debris often fall into the opening just before the hose goes in. This makes it undrinkable. We use it for everything else. She is going to see if it’s a good or bad gift at the next refill.

Well made and used in conjunction with a 4 to 6 inch duct reducer does an excellent job at filtering incoming water to an IBC tank top.
