I bought this set my freshman year of college. I'm a first-year grad student and it still works fantastic! I recommended this for my sister who just started college as well.

this lanyard stays around my neck so my quick dashes to get my dog outside wont be a locked out moment; what a nightmare to be locked out and expensive to get back inside. with this lanyard that i automatically put on keeps me from the "oh crap I left my keys in the house again" moments. it stays on the doorknob of my front door at night so if i have a plea from old grumpy pants my dog for a late night let me outside i just head for the door put the lanyard about my neck and the leash on grumpy pants and outside we go with door locked behind us. no getting locked out and scaring my neighbors half to death because i am standing there at their front door with my snow monkey pajamas pleading for them to call the locksmith again. thank you to the makers of this lanyard; the end part can be snapped off and you can place the lanyard in the washing machine too. awesome item.

It looks exactly like the picture & I have put a safety set for keychains on it. It really holds some weight & has not torn. As most people I throw my keys around & it just caught in the door sometimes (bc I am in a rush). No complaints!

Love the pattern, soft. Length is oddly longer than I thought, it doesn't stay secured to my wrist.
