Worked right out of the box
Works great for my HP Elitedesk 800 g1!! I read on so many forums that the wiring configuration could be bad and I may have to rewire. I did not have to move a single pin or wire. Connector and wire are good. Great product! Would highly recommend if you need to upgrade the 800 g1 power supply.

It works for HP prodesk 600 g1 sff!
My pc didnt blow up! Just kidding, this cable works, I needed it since I was upgrading my PSU. The little velcro is also really helpful and a welcone addition for cable management.

When 350 watts just won't cut it anymore!
If you're looking for this item, chances are you seriously need this. Let me tell you that it works exactly like you would expect it to. I don't know why the product page says this item is frequently returned. My guess is people have no idea what they're buying.I used this cable to build a Frankenstein media server using the motherboard out of a HP Prodesk 600 and it was literally plug and play with a standard ATX power supply. 10/10 would use this as a stocking stuffer for my blind grandma.

They work, with some tricks
I bought 4 of these back in the beginning of 2024 for 4 HP ProDesk 600 G1 (MT) and case swapped all 4 of them. These adapters allowed it to be case swapped.. with a little trick of course... you see if you just plug this adapter in and power the aftermarket psu you bought for it.. expecting it to work, the chances are slim to none. What I found out through a GODSEND of a forum on the internet was, you have to Switch power on the PSU to the ON position first then plug the adapter in. I know this sounds a tiny bit sketchy.. and that's because it is. But you only have to do it if you first go to plug the PC or each time you go to unplug or move you're PC. If you want to see more info on what I'm talking about, I made some mediocre YouTube videos when I was just first starting out on making YouTube videos... my name on YouTube is... ---> RyesTechWorld. Hope this review helps someone out there!!

Works perfectly
It was nice they included pictures in the ad to make sure it would work on your motherboard. Plugged it in and everything worked. Couldn't be anymore simple

Almost Perfect
The cord is better quality and better price than the others, and works great in my PC. The larger motherboard plugin has two sections, one being a 4-pin, that’s a bit difficult to slide onto the other piece because you have to pull on the cords a bit to do it, so be careful. It did come with the little black wire for the F1 “Power supply fan not detected” error, but I still get the error every time I boot up my HP Elite 8100. It might be better in an 8200/8300. Still, it didn’t set my PC on fire like I’ve read about in reviews for other versions of this cord by other brands, nor did it short circuit my hardware. If not for the fan error, I’d give this five stars!

Solid choice for the money
Used this to power my modified HP elitedesk 800 G1 tower model. Upgraded the PSU to a 600 watt and needed this beauty to power the motherboard. Quality seemed nice, computer booted the first time without any issues.
