These are new, so I can't speak to durability, but I bought some others that were garbage. I paid my handyman to put five in for a handrail. They were so wobbly, I had these delivered overnight. These seem very secure, and my handyman said they were easy to install. He's building wooden bases to cover up the screws and make shoveling easier. Now I have three extras, because they come in packs of eight. Only disadvantage I can see.

I used these to tie my deck roof posts to the top of the deck. They look really nice. I did buy some special, black lags to bolt them down: they come with cement anchors only. We don't get tornados or hurricanes here in Oregon, so I don't expect that my roof will be flying away ;-)

These are exactly what i was looking for. I previously had plastic deck post holders and they eventually cracked. These make my deck sturdy. The only complain i have is they didnt come with screws for wood.

Recently installed. 4 stars to see if it can earn 5 from lasting. Used 4 expanding screws to start. Has held 4x4x8 post. Will go to 8 screws over time to ensure it holds through storms.

It comes with extremely beefy, mounting hardware for concrete. However, it’s unable to withstand the slightest push from a simple breeze. It’s not welded all the way around it just has for tech points extremely weak and absolute rubbish. If you buy this plan on undoing everything you just put together only to have to replace it with better equipment.
