Aqua Cast Water Activated Casting Compound 3kg

Just used this today and love the results. It’s best on solid decorative pieces, not those with super fine details though/thin areas. So it worked best on tealight candle holders I made. It didn’t work great on a gecko mold, his arm fell off, so would imagine this wouldn’t be great for detailed jewellery in thin molds. It’s a bit like plaster of Paris in consistency but mixes so nicely. You have to use a lot of pigment/mica powders to get any colour and then I only got a very pale colour. Will def use again. I am pretty new at epoxy resin crafts and I hate how messy it is and how long it takes to dry but then it has its advantages and it’s drawbacks as does this stuff. This was far less messy, far easier to clean up afterwards, far less toxic!

Really pleased with the casting compound. It was easy to use, mixed really well into a great pourable consistency, with very few air bubbles. I used various colours of pigment which mixed in really well with the compound. Compound dried in about 60 mins and turned out of moulds very easily, without breaking or cracking. Package arrived about 30 mins ago opened it and the bag was split down the side powder everywhere Promised my daughter we would do some crafts so will have to scoop out what i can - hopefully good result's when casting- ill update after tidying up! Managed to use this last night and wow so much easier than Jesmonite just use water and no more bubbles. I used acrylic ink and got a nice marble effect in candle holders and a coaster. Given 4 stars as i had to shift through the packaging foam pieces to try and salvage the powder luckily had a jesmonite tub i could put it into. Will buy again so much easier to mix and you get more time to play as it doesnt set as quick as Jesmonite

I am extremely satisfied with this product. The quality is excellent. On top of that, the price is more than reasonable for what you get. It definitely exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great value and reliability.

This is my 3rd order with aqua cast and the 3kg bag goes along way with my crafts. This is a value for money product and the durability and consistency is easy to use and results are 1st class.

It's a good product. But it takes longer to dry.

Very easy to use, smooth finish, enough time to mix it properly before it sets. I had issues to find the right pigments to mix with it. However, I am a rookie in this field so perhaps it was my lack of experience rather that problem with the product.

Juste un super produit ma note si basse est à cause du prix c'est vraiment très cher pour une association de protection animale comme nous qui fabriquons des objets pour avoir un peu d'argent pour nos loulous ce n'est pas rentable du tout et c'est bien dommage. Sachant qu'il faut beaucoup de poudre pour peu de fabrication c'est triste car en tant qu'association on ne peu pas vendre cher sinon on ne vend pas et du coup on dépense plus qu'on ne rentre de l'argent c'est dommage et je le regrette bien. Du coup je commande ailleurs pour une autre marque moins cher pour de plus grandes quantités.

Cette resine est la pire que j ai testé, j ai pourtant bien pesé mais elle bulle , l autre face est lisse mais il manque des détails. Je suis déçu surtout aux vues du prix
