Amazon Customer Service and Protection team AI responses
Dear Amazon team, I have multiple times reported that the gift card purchase is not recognised. Your customer service said they cancelled the orders then they said they escalated to the right team. I chased again and again - over the phone and online. All your Protection team did is locked the account and asked to follow the steps to add extra security. By the way, I believe I had a generic AI response. I received it three times copy for copy ("we have already taken action to protect your account from the unathorized activity we detected") . I noticed you advised to contact bank too. I did and they also redirected me to their Disputes team. I lost hours in trying to resolve something I have not initiated and despite me asking for the root cause of the issue, cancellation of the unrecognized orders, I got silence. In the age of AI, is this where we heading? I remember a different Amazon just a while back. Please can a human being get in touch to resolve?
