This item is perfect to link your shutter button to a mobile phone. I use mine with a mobile phone mount to get hands free, stable shots for astrophotography when a tripod is needed to get perfect night shots without disturbing the long exposure shots. Easy to link to your phone. But the build quality could be better. It rattles a little as the buttons aren't very securely held in place by the body of the remote. If definitely not waterproof. But for basic control to take a photograph on your mobile phone, it does the job. Works perfectly on the Samsung S24 Ultra.

Works great! So easy to set up, and also to use. Brilliant to be able to take group photos without feeling rushed because you’re using a timer, or having one member excluded because they are taking the photo
