I just got it, and so far, I love it. I am paraplegic and due to illness, bedfast. I get wonderful care and, of course, eat all of my lovingly prepared meals in bed. I always have salt and pepper handy in shakers, but there is someting about ground pepper in a shaker that seems dead to me. I much prefer the fresh, sharp granules sprinkled from a grinder. The simple ease with which I am able to adjust from coarse to fine makes me smile. Fresh ground black pepper seems to me to be alive.This power pepper grinder comes in a size that fits perfectly into the space previously occupied by my pepper shaker in the tray at my bedside, it just sticks up higher which is actually an asset. I keep a cord handy to charge my phone or my PS5 controller, and that cord with a USB-C plug (right? It's all rounded, not flat on one side like the older ones.) will charge this grinder as well.Someone even had the good sense to add a light in the bottom so I can see what's coming out and where it's going. Brilliant! Added to those features is a cover on the bottom that is easy to remove and replace, and I assume it helps to keep the contents of the grinder from getting stale.It would help if they made the power button a different color than the body. I often use it in low light and have to hold if up to find the switch. That problem may solve itself as I become increasingly familiar with the pepper mill.This unit has all of the good features I wanted and more. It's too soon to address durability, but I expect to be satisfied with that as the years pass too.I'm thinking about getting another one to grind salt...

I'm disappointed. I've had this grinder since November 2022 and it works well. I was able to charge it with no difficulties the first time, but now I can't fit the USB plug into the port to charge. The port appears to have shifted into the cover and now I can't charge. The grinder is now unusable since there is no way to charge it.UPDATE:The seller contacted me with an offer of replacement. Prior to my disappointed review I attempted to charge the pepper grinder with every USB-c charger I had, but none would work. I had forgotten that I bought the set as their email reminded me. When I located the box with the salt grinder the cord that came with the grinders was in the box. That fits perfectly and I was able to fully charge the grinder. It now works and grinds as before. Chalk it up to human error! All is well and I am once again a satisfied customer.

I love these TOMEEM electric salt and pepper grinders. The first one I received was the end of May this year and after the initial charge, we have not had to charge it again and we use it daily and as far as durable, seems to be holding up very well. We keep salt in the first one and so I had to get another for the pepper.Love the way it feels in the hand. It's super easy to change the grind setting. Push of the button use with a light to see better (which for salt is awesome). Convenient cap (or lid) to cover the end so there is no leftover powder from grinding on the counter. Fast USB-C charging (which lasts a long time on one charge).Very happy with the grinders!!

I feel stupid for not having got this sooner. Hand twisting a pepper grinder and using fingers to pinch salt..... NO. These quickly grind the right amounts of salt/pepper for your ingredients or meal seasoning. I would like for the silo to hold more. The manufacturers should offer a large and smaller version to fit consumer needs. 100% get the WHITE/BLACK combo, otherwise you may add pepper when clealy salt was needed.

Just got this new salt & pepper set. I was eager to see how an automatic grinder compared to a hand-cranked one. The difference was delightful. So far I like everything about my new set - ease of loading & ease of operation. I've only had it a few days, so I don't know how long the charge will last but that was easy too. The price was right and the set looks great. I can already tell my cooking will benefit.

Useless so was able to return.
