SH50/52 Replacement
These (SH30) shaving heads perfectly replace the SH50/52. They're cheaper, work better and last longer. Philips (Norelco) states they won't work, nonsense! Looks like Philips wants to push their newer heads regardless of there performance. These heads work just like my older Norelco. So, if you've got the 5000 series razor, these are the ones for you!

A close shave.
My razor shaves as good as new with these replacement blades. The new blades were easy to install. I was a little hesitant to spend more money for these original replacement blades, over the available "knockoffs", but I'm glad I did. No skipping or pulling whiskers. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I am getting a good shave from these replacement blades.
It took me about 3 minutes to swap out the old and install the new blades. TIP: Don’t be in a hurry and throw everything old out. You need to keep and re-use a sort of filigreed plastic framework that has a little black plastic lock hub in the center. OUTCOME: These replacement blades are giving me a noticeably better shave than my older, original blades. The package advises to change blades every 2 years. I think that’s reasonable. In some reviews here, people have complained about getting pulled hairs or discomfort….none of that has happened to me. I get a smooth comfortable shave. I must have gotten bonafide, original Philips product. I have a fairly thick 5 o'clock shadow and this product is working well for me. YMMV.

The blades on my Series 1000 were well worn and I was considering buying a new shaver until i saw these genuine Philips quality replacements. Fitted really easily and shaver restored to as good as new condition. Nice quick clean smooth shave and saved some money not buying new shaver.
