Cool Cars and Trucks (Sean Kenney's Cool Creations)

I saw in other reviews this book came with stickers. I bought my book brand new and it did not. My son and are also disappointed that it doesn't show you how to build all the things featured in the book, only one or 2 select few from each section.

I originally wrote a review of this book when I first bought it and at that time my Son was younger. At the time he was younger and needed experience. I tried building items in here and cannot but now I realize why. I am one of those people that need Lego instructions because I can only build things that way. My Son is now 6 and can build anything in this book. I would recommend that if you buy this book you purchase it for someone that already has a good working knowledge of building with Legos. It is especially good for someone who builds things free hand (without lego instructions). My Son likes this book so much we just bought the one about building Cool buildings.

This was a decent book, but a little expensive for what was in there. There were several things in there to build, but not as many as I expected. The expert level on building the items was all over the place. Some were way easy, some were very hard. Many of the items to build you needed special pieces that we do not have. Some of them came with detailed instructions which we liked, but several were just pictures of things built out of legos. Depending on what you were looking for, you will or won't like this book. For the price, we were looking for several things to build out of legos with detailed instructions for the younger kid (stage right before they build things on their own). We have liked the brick master sets for our 4 boys. It comes with the bricks and a book with 10+ things to build out of the set of legos. Again, this is a good book, but for the price, and what we were looking for, it fell short.

While there are great pictures, I was hoping some of the cars and trucks used parts we'd have easily. There are a lot of tire wells that don't come in kits, so we'd have to order them or go to a Lego store to get them. While our son is creative, he also really wants to try making these, so we'd have to get parts to complete the ones in this book.

I purchased this book along with the one on cities for my boys a year ago and out of all the Lego books that I've purchased these two are by far their favorites. My boys have tons of Lego bricks and just needed a jump start and some ideas that they could run with. This book provided just that.This is not an instruction manual with step by step directions laid out, although there are some for smaller things, but it shows creations that are really do-able and inspires them to create with what they have on hand.I highly recommend this series for all Lego builders out there.

Bought this for our cousine. He loves to read and loves to build w/ legos, so it was a win-win.(age 7) I liked that it showed lots of ways to build different vehicals w/ the same base. Very cool. Nice to have as we often loose the original instructions that come w/ our legos and are left w/ buckets of legos but no idea how to make what we want. Unless you are one of those super creative people that work for lego, this is a great book for the rest of us and kids. Helps the creativeness get a base going to expand on.

Unless you have thousands of LEGO pieces, don't plan on building the exact models in this book. However, this book is a good resource for any child or adult who wants to have some ideas for building some interesting looking cars and trucks. This book will help you expand your ideas and build upon your imagination when building LEGO vehicles.

i bought this as a christmas gift for my nephew. he is 10 and we bought him legos so i thought this will help him build things. i will have to see how it works till i go and see him to let you know if he used it and how it works.

A mio MODESTO avviso, libro fatto bene ma troppo corto, si potevano aggiungere istruzioni per certe illustrazioni inserite, il senso del libro è spiegare come si costruiscono certe cose, se si mette una foto, do per scontato che si alleghino le istruzioni.Libro un pò troppo caro, secondo me.Spedizione e servizio Amazon, IMPECCABILE.

Manuale per spunti. Adatto però a chi riesce a creare anche senza spiegazioni passo passo. Secondo me non adatto a bambini troppo piccoli

The boys in my library classes are all lining up to get these Lego Book. I sure wish there were more of them.

This book is sold as tutorial for making cars and trucks or as a step by step in how to make a variety of vehicles. Instead we get a few pictures of some cool cars, and the step by step examples use pieces that I've never even seen before.Very disappointing.
