POTENTIAL LIFE SAVERS, LITERALLY.
This is going to be a long review since I’m pretty passionate about my increased quality of life as a result of these, so hopefully this can provide insight into how these can help others in similar situations (though they’re a pretty self-explanatory and common sense product). I also need to open this with the footnote that my dogs are NOT aggressive (they’re really the opposite), so I will not be able to speak on the efficacy of these muzzles with regards to protecting yourself or others from an aggressive dog. I also haven’t experienced a lot of barking with the muzzles, so I won’t be speaking on that either. Where these muzzles are potential life savers for my dogs are with their anti-scavenging design, which prevents my dogs from eating anything and everything they can find on the ground outside specifically. My dogs have always been light scavengers at best, picking up little wood chips, sticks, food scraps, etc., but over the past year or so it’s devolved into something that has pretty drastically decreased my enjoyment of taking them on walks or just outside in general. They are now chronically looking to eat anything they can get in their mouths, including poop, larger sticks, dirt, leaves, as well as more lethal objects like rocks, plastic, small pieces of metal (like a metal barrette), etc. (the latter objects being my main point of concern for obvious reasons). I have spoken to vets about this change in behavior and there isn’t an underlying or immediate cause for concern, so I just needed to just try to sway them from continuing to do so (since they likely just got in the habit of doing this and need to unlearn it). It all came to a climax when my mini golden doodle got ahold of a ball of food-waste Saran Wrap hidden in the grass (so I didn’t notice it until she already had it in her mouth), and this led to a very expensive emergency clinic visit involving inducing vomiting to retrieve the plastic. They were unable to find the plastic and we were all convinced I had just misunderstood what I saw her eat, until SEVERAL weeks later when the Saran Wrap finally successfully passed through her digestive system in its entirety and came out the other side. To say we were all shocked was an understatement, and more than anything we felt incredibly lucky that it didn’t cause fatal intestinal blockage. This was my final straw, and I knew this outdoor behavior needed to come to an end. I decided to give these cage muzzles a try since their open design meant there was no restriction of air flow, and the design also meant they were able to pant freely without me needing to worry about them overheating when out on walks in the summer. The sizing in the product descriptions seems pretty reliable as well, as they fit my dogs’ snouts very well. They seem very high quality and I’m not worried about them breaking or deteriorating any time soon. The straps are very easy to adjust to your dog’s head as well, so you can get a perfect fit. They didn’t love the sensation of the muzzles at first and tried taking them off during the first wear, but by the second and third time wearing them it had already become second nature for them and they seemed to completely ignore the muzzles altogether. Most importantly, THEY WORK. There’s a center piece of caging that runs vertically in front of their mouth that prevents them from picking up objects on the ground, even if they try their best to get ahold of it. I can take them outside and let them roam freely and sniff around and I don’t have to worry about them eating things they shouldn’t that are out of my line of sight. I still watch them closely as always, but the amount of weight that has been taken off my shoulders knowing we can focus on enjoying our walks, exercise, and exploration/enrichment has made a night and day difference in my everyday life. Knowing my dogs can enjoy the outdoors again without unknowingly ingesting something that could cause serious health complications has unexpectedly been one of the greatest gifts in recent memory. If you’re experiencing scavenging problems with your dog(s) like I have, I would highly recommend trying these muzzles out (or “masks” as I like to call them, since “muzzle” can sound aggressive sometimes). I will be excitedly using these without fail every time we go outside.

#1, take good measurements; #2, if your dog has never worn a muzzle, give it time
I first ordered a size Large for my 70-lb. mixed breed dog. He has a long but not very wide nose, he was inbetween the L and XL. The large was a bit too small, it rested on his nose and the opening where he could hang his tongue out to pant or eat or drink was in the wrong place. He wasn't resisting it but he was not comfortable. I ordered the XL which is a bit too big but I can work with that - he has more room at the end for his nose and the space for his tongue is in the right place to pant and drink or take treats. Be careful with your measurements, but allow a little extra room if you're not sure get the larger size if you have a large dog. I have included photos of my dog in the XL muzzle, and 2 without so you can see what size the dog is - 70 lbs. is all in his chest and neck, his face is small. The muzzle itself is a little heavy but he can handle it, no he's not crazy about it and sometimes lays down and rubs his head on the ground and tries to take it off but he can't get it off. It seems durable and it's washable. So much better than the mesh muzzle that the veterinarian requires. He's a rescue dog and he sniffs everywhere for anything. I don't "have" to make him wear it on walks but I don't want him to swallow a piece of sharp chicken bone and end up at the emergency vet. He's fear-aggressive and I don't want him to bite a person or another dog. He is reactive on the leash and barks at at least half of the dogs in the neighborhood, and I would not say this is a "barklesss" muzzle but he can't bite through it! He certainly can growl and make his presence known, but he can't hurt anyone. He also tends to pick up things to eat on our walks, unfortunately people sit on those nice benches and eat chicken wings and toss the bones on the ground. The 5-second rule doesn't count with my dog, he can snatch it out of the grass in 2-3 seconds! I'm happy to say he cannot grab a chicken bone with this muzzle. Overall, I like the muzzle and I feel better with the dog wearing it on our daily walks. I have had it on my dog for a few weeks, and we did start with the mesh muzzle but he accepted both types pretty well. Please DO take the time to give the dog treats and get used to the muzzle if he/she has never had one. It's worth the extra time.

Did not keep my dog from attacking my other dog.
I started a return on this item and wish i had completed it but instead we kept it and it was snug and tight and on the correct way. Well now because your item did not keep her from biting my little dog, in which she proceeded to get the muzzle off after she started the attack. I thought she killed my little boston who is almost 14. Its a wondef she is still alive but because your muzzle failed the dog had to be put down. So we lost one dog and have $1000 in saving my little dog because you claimex she couldnt bite or get out of it. Your claims were false and we r left heartbroken. Dont buy this if u have an aggressive dog it will not keep them from biting. Absolutely hurt and pissed off that i put my trust into your item. You cant being her back and u cant help my little one heal. But u should fix your claims or not sell it. You should be sued for false advertisement. The blood of two dogs are on the manufactors hands. I coild send some very disturbing pics of my little one cause she has stitches all over her but i wont upset others. Yes im pissed off and very hurt and its because the item failed to do what it claimed. Faulty crap cost me my dog and almost my other one and alot of money and has cost my little one alot of pain. FIX IT OR STOP SELLING IT ! Update $1400 and we could not save our 14 yr old. It took me this long to be able to update it has had me in bad shape. Now your product cost me 2 dogs $1,400 and my sanity because all i can see is my dog being attacked and killed in front of me.

Our dog doesn't mind wearing it.
We tried a different muzzle and our dog kept pawing and pulling at it. She did not like it. But this one--> fits her great, she even puts her nose into it without a fight. It seems to calm her down as well. Highly recommend.

Presto, dog removes muzzle instantly whenever he chooses to.
Fit well, seemed like a great alternative to super-expensive custom-fit muzzles like Mia's Muzzles, BUT my Anatolian Shepherd takes it off in literally a MICRO-SECOND. He is a "good boy" so he usually will leave it on simply because he knows I want it on him, but, when he is of the opinion (livestock guardians are very independently opinionated) that he doesn't need it on, he simply removes it with a flick of his paw, or even by putting it against my leg and moving his head backward just a nudge. It NEEDS another strap which would connect to the collar, at least from the top of the head, two straps one on each side, connected to the top of the collar. That MIGHT solve the problem. Since my boy is dangerously aggressive at times, I will either need to figure out how to make such a strap, or I guess it's well over a hundred dollars for a muzzle from Mia or some other custom fitter.

Not Bad just be Patient
My female Rottweiler is 8 months old and weighs about 80 lbs. I purchased the large and it fits good. The rubber piece is fairly hard but not too soft and easy to put it on, needs to give her a treat first, lol! Of course, she did not like it to wear it, but it helps to stop her from biting every time she sees it, so she knows already what it is for. You have to adjust the straps on top of the nose really good because it tends to go to the left most of the time, lol! the first and longest time she wears the muzzle was 30 minutes, after that she calm down.

Light and secure!
Love this muzzle. We were using a metal one that was good but heavy… and our Dutch shepherd occasionally removed it. I got this one bc my son’s friend moved in and she has to be in it a lot now while she adjusts to him. She has not gotten out of it once and it is so light. I love it. I feel bad that I didn’t get one like this sooner for her!

Ne tient pas du tout en place
La conception de cette muselière l'empêche de tenir en place, le chien la retire très facilement en secouhant la tête. fortement déconseillé si vous ne voulez pas perdre temps argent et sécurité.
