Sunburnt Advanced After-Sun Lotion, 6 Ounce

So when I started looking for something that would work better than regular aloe gel, I was stuck between 3 products with great reviews. I picked this one because one person said their sunburn was almost gone over night. Now I didnt expect miracles. With aloe gel its instant relief, but for about 5 minutes. This took about 5 minutes but gave me relief for hours. I only had to apply twice in a day. I was able to sleep without pain. Wear clothes. Just function. My roommate and her bf also got burnt. They also loved it. Also, I kept using it for a few days, everywhere but my face (didnt even think about it)... no peeling. None at all.. except my face. Put some on there to help reduce that. Not greasy. Smell is actually really nice (I have sensory issues with smells so thats good). Not too strong. Comes out white, but goes on clear. So with all that said, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PRODUCT. Definitely worth it and a darn good price for size (bigger than I anticipated).

I finally got what I wanted in a burn lotion. I have gone through MANY different brands looking for a burn lotion that wasn't greasy, and wasn't a gel and absorbed well. This one fit the bill. I hate the greasy ones because if you have to go to bed soon after applying, you get your pillowcase and bedding all oily. Plus, they obviously won't absorb well. Some of the lotions I purchased said "moisturizer," but turned out to actually be a gel. I don't like gels because they really don't absorb well. They sort of dry on your skin, and kind of feel like a face mask, kind of tight. And if you smile, you feel like it's kind of cracking on your face a little bit. Doesn't feel soothing to me. Maybe they do help to heal the burn eventually, but they don't feel hydrating. This product is actually a lotion, not a gel, and it's soothing and hydrating and absorbs well. I know it's kind of pricey at $27.00 for a 6oz. tube, but I think it's worth it. Maybe it's true what they say, "You get what you pay for." Also, 6oz. seems like a small amount, but it's actually a pretty big tube, and a little seems to go a long way. All that said, I still haven't really experienced how well and how quickly it heals the burn. I just got it today. I was so excited about the quality of the lotion, that I had to write this review. I do have a burn right now on my face, and I applied it. It feels good, soothing and hydrating, and absorbed well. But I don't yet know how well, or how quickly it will heal the burn. I will update after I research this more thoroughly. There is one down side for me - the fragrance. Most people would probably be OK with it, but I'm chemically sensitive and don't like perfumes on my face. I wish they wouldn't use fragrance at all (it's not healthy for people). The smell is not SUPER strong, but it's still a little irritating to me. Fortunately, it does fade after awhile. Update (June 27, 2017): I am glad to report that the next day, my burn was a lot better. It's pretty much gone now. I think it's a good lotion.

I have been using the SunBurnt gel for years. I recently found the lotion and I didn’t think it could get better but it did!!!! I am fair skinned and recently got a pretty bad burn down my arms and thighs that was pretty painful plus some redness on my face. The gel was helping but my skin was still feeling tight and painful. Once I started applying the gel, letting it dry, and then adding the lotion on top I have already noticed less redness, less tightness, and definitely less pain in just one day! The lotion feels great, doesn’t peel, and dries quickly with a nice light cucumber fresh scent. This is a must buy for any pale, sun burn prone people!

Perfect for sensitive skin. We all know to protect our skin when in the Florida sun, but when I missed a few spots, or didn't reapply after swimming, I ended up with burnt skin. Wasn't happy. This lotion is awesome. I applied every day, soaks into skin quickly with no greasy feel. Recommend for beach vacations!!

Works very well. It’s the best after sun lotion that I have ever bought. I got pretty toasty after a day at the beach and I started using this immediately after coming in. Working diligently through the day-reapplying about every 1-2 hours decreased the redness significantly! I wish I had taken before and after pics because it really does work. My go-to from now on!

Best product ever for sunburn!! Works immediately taking away and soothing pain

I love it as I've been using it for a long time now. It's not greasy and absorbs right into your skin and with no residue. It's a very nice moisturizer and works well. I use it ALL the time!!
