Seems to work well. One electrical connection didn’t work well but I fashioned a workaround and everything is good.

Sept 8 2022, Saw Costco sell these so I gave it a shot, Went to Homedepot and bought a 10/3 tools cable and a dryer plug to make the connection. Easy to install if you read the instruction. I used this to charge a BMW X5 Xdrive45e to fully charge from empty in 5hrs. Would be faster for other EV.Revise: 09/22/2022 after a few weeks of usage, one of the locking clip is broken, so i decided to drop a star due to production quality

I made a mistake buying this so I returned it. I just want a charger for an electric vehicle that I can plug in.

I had an electrician install it. It seemed to work fine and charged at the advertised rate. When I disconnected the plug, the unit turned red with an error message any a control pilot and short-circuit. The unit won't charge now. I turned power off using the circuit breaker and turned it back on. Charging worked fine but it had the same issue on disconnect. I'm returning the product.

Plug in chargers require a GFCI breaker. This charger has a built in GFCI which will conflict with circuit breaker if used with a plug in cord. It will work but breaker trips will be frequent. This is probably reason for negative reviews
