Must have for mini painting
This thing is great. It fits my hand well and is comfortable for long painting sessions. I'm 6ft and have medium large hands. It comes with some tack that is pretty good. The part where you put the model onto rotates very smoothly. Being able to rest my painting hand on the curved part that extends out of the handle has made painting way more comfortable And it mAkes doing precise stuff way easier. No more shaking. Eyes are way easier

Works Great, Good Price
I like how smoothly the knob turns. Even metal miniatures stick nicely with the provided sticky tack. I wish it would have come with a few more of the textured knobs so that I could do 5 or 6 models at a time. The handle feels a little light and could tip over easily, but I solved this by using leftover (old) paintbrush handles to hold the models that I am not currently working on. (See in background of my photo). If the manufacturer is looking for suggestions for improvement, they could include some properly sized wooden rods with the miniature holder to allow for a similar "hot-swap" setup. I also disassembled the handle and filled it with steel BB's and Play-Doh to give the handle some substantial hefty and prevent it from tipping over easily.

Great little tool for painting fine detail.
The handle is comfortable and the top rotates nicely. The hand rest is useful and comes off for bigger minis. There are a couple of caps that the mini attaches to, which is good. The recess for the handle shaft is a little small on two of them, so while they hold on tight (i.e., they stay on even upside down, and I tried with both 3d printed and metal) they wobble just a bit when you press on the cap to rotate it. It's all made of plastic It's suppose that fit is the only way you can make them interchangeable and still have enough friction to keep them on the shaft. The whole assembly is very light. Well worth the month for me.

Works great now that I’m used to it. Grip is a little quirky but it us effective.

Works for me.
I'm a complete noob at miniature painting, and this helped a lot. At first I tried to do without it, holding the figures while priming the bases, letting them dry, then holding the bases to prime the figures. However, I immediately found that the hand I was using to hold them blocked my sight and the all-important light. The vertical stalk, which I suppose is a hand rest, is removable. It comes with four "turntables" that press onto a peg on the end of the handle. They allow you to rotate a figure when mounted. It also come with four spare miniature bases, in case you need them.

Cheap!!!
I received this items today and I have not used it. But I did take a look at it and what I found shocked me. This Painting Handle was very inexpensive but I didn't expect it to be made from stereo parts. Look at my pictures to see that 2 of the knobs are volume knobs for a stereo. (black knobs) It had something rattling inside so I pulled it apart and found a small magnet bouncing around. It was poorly hot glued and came loose. I then noticed that the top metal piece was what looked like a tone or volume knobs from a guitar. This is very cheaply made and I don't expect it to last long. Without using it I wouldn't recommend this item. That may change once I use it but I don't have high hopes.

Does what it needs to do
Works very well! The hand rest does get in the way for taller miniatures. Does help greatly when doing fine detail work. The top turn wheel is a bit flimsy and never feels like it is tight. All in all easy to use and it does the job

Superb little gadget, perfect for model painting
I'm going to start with the exact opposite opinion of one of the negative reviews on here. Yes, this uses a rotary switch and standard knobs for the rotating surface, and it's a brilliant idea. There's just enough resistance when turning to make it easy to rotate with your fingertips, but it doesn't move at all on its own. Being a standard musical component the rotary control has no slop, and it's going to be designed to last for years. This was one of the reasons I selected this painting handle as I think that's going to make it far more reliable. The handle itself is a little light, but I'm willing to forgive that when everything else is so good. Discovering it had a magnetic base was also an unexpected bonus as I use a flat 1mm sheet of steel to protect the top of my workbench. And the eight included bases mean I can set several models up for painting and switch them out easily without smudging the paint.

Perfekt

Really useful purchase
I'm really happy with this paint handle. I know I could've just used corks, or dowel, or whatever, but I find the flexibility of this particular item to be more than worth the cost. I'm so happy with it, in fact, that I've just ordered another one, so I can work on more minis at once.
