most wood chips are quite large and don't work as well in my electric smoker.this shredded cherry word works wonderfully in it! Awesome flavor.No unburnt wood! unlike the larger chips I used to get.

I used this as a trial for a 'natural infusion' for a specific scent I was going for in my skincare products. I added a touch extra bourbon to substitute the potential loss of smell during the heated infusion process, but all in all this worked amazing for what I was going for! I initially bought a smaller container as a test, but since it worked I bought this bigger bag.

I have used this manufacturer's Apple wood chips with excellent success when I got this bag I noticed how much fine dust and powder was in the bag that added to the problem and these sawdust chips were unable to light and stay lit I use a cold smoker device for LOX and I had to re light it every half hour even with a blow torch it did not want to stay lit my cold smoker actually was deforming with the amount of heat I had to apply to get it lite the sawdust was too finely packed and did not allow air to pass through to keep it burning I don't believe I will buy this product from this company again too big of a pain in the butt and when you smoke LOX it takes 24 hours so it was a real chore to continually re lighting it.

Great value for the volume of chips, and a great mild flavor. Issues have been with them not staying lit in my "snail" smoke generator. I have had to do additional drying of chips to get them to smolder through whole maze, or mix with apple sawdust that burns better.

We bought a new smoker and use it even in the coldest weather. I noticed that the larger chips I'd been using didn't burn down and didn't produce as much smoke. Cameron's extra fine chips are just what we needed: first time using it, only ash was left at the end of the smoke cycle.
