I knocked 1 star of as the product description is quite confusing, title states for girls 5 to 10 then in the description it states 3 - 12 yr olds. I would agreed with 5 -10 year olds as mximum age but defiently not between 3 and and 10 and 12. It also says for girls, as a parent of boys and girls i wouldIt is a wonderful idea but needs supervision and imagination, I may be being picky here but the grass isn't even laid, it's not as if the grass can be put anywhere else other than the base of the sphere. Basically you geta empty sphere which isn't exactly inspiring for a child to open up. Once you open everything up and your child can see all the parts then it starts getting exciting.Lovely idea having the lights and the fact the child can design their own dinotopia and keep in their rooms as a night life.I think it's a bit expensive for what you get but woukd make a lovely gift to a child who loves dinosaurs.Instructions are not in english although you only need these for the glue but it's still a important factor in instructions

The media could not be loaded.  I was actually really impressed with this night light and the amount of stuff that comes included in the box!The box itself is actually quite large and the design all around is dinosaur themed so you know what your getting straight away.Once you open the box up it is filled to the brim with items that you can use to create the nightlight. It really does come with everything you need. There is the dome, base, environmental parts, small dinosaurs, glue and even more.Everything inside seems like really good quality and I was super impressed with how thick the base was.Definitely a fun activity for lovers of dinosaurs of all ages and it will pass a large amount of time to get everything were you want it.

Lovely idea and would make a great gift for any dinosaur fan. Easy to put together and everything is provided, gave a good 30 minutes of fun. Two sets of tiny lights, but not sure how safe exposed wires are?

My son and his girlfriend made this together. It was a little bit fiddly and the glue didn’t have much to stick to on the bottom of some of the items, but they all stuck well regardless. The wooden base gave a great foundation for the grass..I would say younger children would definitely need supervision.Make sure the tree and taller items are towards the middle as the dome squashes them if they are towards the sides…The multicoloured fairy lights are lovely with the operating box sitting outside the dome do you can operate it without having to take dome on and off.A beautiful and fun thing to make and look at after!

We have very creative children, We brought these as an outlet for them over the holidays, they are really good kits and the lamps themselves are a really good size. The children loved being able to design and make their own and found a few things around the house to add to it. kept them busy for about an hour.Be careful with the glue, it's in Spanish!Would have gotten 5 stars however i felt they were a bit overpriced for what we got.

A fun kit for building a detailed diorama night light with grass, volcano, rocks, trees and dinosaurs.There are also two sets of lights - one string of static green lights and a second string of multicoloured lights that can be set to flashing or static (both battery powered, multicoloured lights have batteries but the green ones require two AA batteries.Included with the items mentioned above is a wooden base, three small base feet, a large clear dome and glue.The glue is pretty good, doesn't take too long to set and feels strong enough for the purpose, I decided to give this to my nephew for his birthday but I decided get half of it done ahead of time so it would save time and not look so 'boring' when he opened it up 😄I glued the grass in place, pushed it all down firmly for a good secure hold, glued the feet to the base, then I moved on to the volcano, trees and mushrooms, it looked really nice and had a quick test with the lights on inside. The next day I check all of the pieces as they appeared a little wobbly an hour or two after setting them but they were solid, I tipped the whole thing upside down and everything was secure 🙂I'll have to update this with a picture of when he's placed all of the dinosaurs and stones but the kit was great from my experience with it, it's straightforward and doesn't take ages to set the pieces in place. The lighting arrangement might be a little tricky to get them how you like them but the lid can be on with the light switches being tucked behind. There's plenty of glue in the tube so if you decide you want to move something around it can be easily done.£21.99 is a good price for this creation kit, the kids will have fun building this night light and has a lot of options for different layouts and light colours.UPDATED: Dinosaurs, stones and cars added to the masterpiece 😄👌🏻 slightly ruined my trees but that's okay.

This is a nice little craft activity for middle aged children. Comes with everything you need to decorate, love the little dinosaurs which you can put in it. Also comes with little fairy lights so it can light up. Younger children may need help with it as some glue is used, but apart from that they'll love building up the dinosaur scene inside the bowl. Fun to do and looks great when it's lit up!
