To be blunt, if you're looking for something that's going to protect your helmet from being stolen from a determined thief, this isn't it. Now that's not saying it'll be a cake walk to get in, but it will be annoying. Most of the time it's just simply the presents of security that'll scare most people off. This is veryy easy to use, just put the digits in the right spot and it opens like a charm. I like to keep it in my pocket for when I stop into a store real quick. Takes less than 30 seconds to put through my helmet and secure it to the bike. Small, easy to use, just way better than having nothing at all.

This is a very good low-cost helmet theft deterrent. It's certainly not heavy enough to deter a determined criminal with a good set of wire cutters, but I don't feel I need to go to that length. This cable lock is compact and simple enough to quickly secure a helmet to stop someone from grabbing a helmet on the way by. Just enough protection to stop a crime of opportunity.

I purchased this to use in Gym, I have purchased another of the same type, this is definitely worth the money. Not just one lock you get two locks at the same price. The other interesting fact is that, the wire is kind of very strong, so planning to use it to tie my bags when I'm flying, as I have at least 3 carry on bags. The bigger lock is definitely wide and can be used for multiple purposes, the smaller one you could probably use it in Gym/ for bags, ..etc. Overall it's a great deal for the money

Keep in mind this isn't the most secure set of locks, but they are extremely inexpensive. That being said, they do as expected. Anybody will a set of bolt cutters (or even a screwdriver for the small lock) is gonna defeat this setup easily. It's more of a visual deterrent. It will stop a snatch and run, but if they are coming with tools you're probably losing the bike as well.

Was great to have on a recent beach trip. Used the smaller lock on my backpack zipper where we had our phones, wallets, etc. and used the larger clip to lock the backpack to our chair. Was nice to have when we went for a dip in the water.

Tried to set my own code, now it wont lock, unlock, or work at all. Cheaply made, hard to see the index line, absolute garbage

It was ok at first. Only used it a handful of times. Then this last time I tried to use it. The mechanism was seized shut. I probably got a defective unit. But still it broke under ten uses!

This item comes with two locks essentially. The main one on the carabineer and a smaller one for use with the coil. The carabineer seems to be good quality and useful. The smaller one is exceedingly weak and practically useless.
