Christmas in the Manger Board book – October 22, 1998

Nice book to introduce the true meaning of Christmas. Colorful and illustrated well.

It is an adorable and straightforward story about the birth of Christ. Beautifully done, my toddler loved it and understood the different roles the animals and people played. I wish they had included Joseph's role in this story. Unfortunately, he was not mentioned.

This product is a great product to teach children about Christmas. The kids can handle the different people without tearing them up. This set is a great tool in teaching the meaning of Christmas.

Such an adorable read for baby around Christmas time. My baby loved the story and i will cherish reading it to him

This board book shares the important people and characters in the Christmas story. Its basic and rhyming text flows easily for young ones. The simple pictures add to the sweet story. I wish I had ordered more copies!

Pros:- simple, yet lovely rhymes- sweet illustrations- short enough book to keep toddlers interested- great introduction to Christmas that parents can expand onCons:- none, though I know some people are picky about the wise men being shown “at the birth” since that’s not accurate. (I am one of those picky ones). But they are part of the birth story of Jesus and so I’m glad this book included them.

I bought this for my daughter's first Christmas book. The simple text and beautiful illustrations are perfect for her at 9 months. However, the content is inaccurate. The author included the wise men, who were not actually at the birth of Christ and does not include a page on Joseph. I wish the author had left out the wise men (or the ram) and added Joseph. This may not be an issue for some, and for my infant daughter I'm not concerned but I think buyers should be aware.

I like the quality of this book so I ordered another one. The illustrations are precious.
